Charlotte, NC – AEBN, the Innovator of Video-on-Demand is pleased to announce the nominees of its annual VOD Awards, now in its 5th year.
Since 2006, AEBN has recognized the most popular films and stars of the year, as chosen by the viewing habits of the millions of fans who visit the company’s global network of theaters, through the VOD Awards. Nominations are based on minute sales in the theaters in one calendar year, decided upon with a precise, in-house accounting system. The awards cover a wide range of genres, and include recognitions for the Performer of the Year, and Best Newcomer. Special honors are also given for Lifetime Achievement and Studio of the Year.
“The AEBN VOD Awards are always greeted with excitement around the office,” says AEBN’s Suzann Knudsen. “As these nominees are picked by the online view counts over the past 12 months, we usually have a general idea of who we might see, but we always have a couple of unexpected titles that have been just slow and steady all year long.”
Along with the new set of nominees, AEBN has unveiled a completely redesigned site to accompany the 2010 Awards, one created to feature the nominees to maximum effect. The new site will also have coverage of previous years’ winner, while clips from the nominated movies will be available for preview on the exclusive VOD Awards channel on PornoTube.com.
