Porn Valley- The wire story about the woman having sex at Ocktoberfest https://www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=11896 is a hint that now’s a good time to run our interview with German porn performer Chris Charming. We caught up with the monstrously hung Charming a couple of weeks ago on a Mitch Spinelli set after Charming and Sascha had done 26 minutes of uninterrupted double-anal with Kelly Wells.

Asked how he got his name, Charming said he originally performed with just his first name. “But I was always nice to the girls,” he says. “A friend of mine was always teasing me- oh, the Prince Charming. The other thing is, ‘charming’ in every language is the same.” As illustration, Charming says it’s pronounced pretty much the same way in German.

Charming got into the business at the age of 36 by accident. “I was always curious about sex,” he says. “I met some girls and they did porn. They said do you want to do it? Why not. That was about ten years ago.” Charming began working in Germany his first year then started working for Rocco and Christoph Clark. “Then I moved to Budapest for a year- after three years I came to Vegas to attend the convention.” Charming made a series of visits to the U.S., then the next time he stayed it was for 13 months. During one stretch he work a lot with Erik Everhard and Brandon Iron. When he had family business to take care of Charming ‘retired’ for a year then resumed his career. “I came back three years ago.”

Charming couldn’t even tell you who the first girl was he worked with. “Only that the story was they kept asking me if I could do anal with the girl,” says Charming. “Yeah, why not. I pulled down my pants. The girl was new- she had only done three scenes. Oooops. I guess we don’t do anal. That’s all I remember on the first scene I ever did.” Charming says it happens that girls will look at his size and back off from doing a scene with him.

“New girls will be, like, it’s too big without even seeing me,” says Charming. I totally understand and I agree. If a girl doesn’t do anal, then please don’t do it with me. If she does it only for the money, don’t do it with me.” Charming remembers a time he was working for Rocco and girls were gaping to the point where you could put a bottle in their asses.

“Then they saw me- they were afraid to get even a little finger in there. If a girl is prepared for it, then it’s no problem. The other thing is, I have a length, so I don’t need to be so rough on a girl and it’ll still be a good picture. But guys with a smaller dick, they try to compensate and fuck harder. And that hurts a girl much harder than a big dick. But a girl gets hurt once and they are afraid. Which I totally understand, that if a small dick hurts that much, how much would a big dick hurt. If they work with me once, most of the time, they’ll be, oh, that’s easy.”

Charming was a partier in what he calls the “Saturday Night Fever” sense.

“Discos were in,” he smiles. Charming calls himself a slow starter, that the first time he had sex was the age of 19.

“It was a girlfriend and that was a hundred years ago,” he laughs. “It was in a car. There was a lot of kissing. We didn’t have many places to go, so we did it in the car.” Even funnier I tell Charming if he were on the Autobahn at the time doing 100 mph.”

“Automobile sex is the best sex,” I tell Charming.

“Only if you have a big car,” he replies. According to Charming, the first girl broke him in and by then he was ready for the rodeo. “I started catching up, and once you have a reputation, good or bad, you have pussy. And there was no HIV or stuff like that. The most you could get was Gonorrhea, Nowadays there’s all kinds of disease. It was different. Now everybody’s afraid.”

Asked if the thought ever occurred to him that 36 was pretty old to get started in porn, Charming said no.

“I never had the experience in porn,” Charming continues, “But if someone makes me an offer, okay. It worked out good.” Prior to porn, Charming studied as a mechanic, then went on to become a technical engineering draftsman. “That is what I have my papers in,” he says. Asked if he ever met some hot drafts ladies, Charming shakes his head no. “That’s the funny part,” says Charming. “In that job you have ten guys and one ugly chick. But still the ugly chick gets pampered because she’s the only girl.” Charming points out that Steve Holmes started his porn career also at the age of 36. “Maybe we’re slow starters.”

I ask Charming if he ever got laid at the Oktoberfest.

“The Oktoberfest is in Munich,” he points out. “That’s the other end of the country. I’m from Dusseldorf, very close to the Holland border.” Charming who says Dutch women are nice, describes his childhood as a very nice one although he was a late starter. When he got into the porn industry, Charming never had one of those conversations with his parents. “You do it because you like to do it,” he says. “You don’t advertise it. You do it then you find out you have a gift for it. You do one or two more scenes and, of course, there’s money coming in.”

Charming says for him, it was like winning the lottery. “It’s different now. But when I started in Germany, it was for fun. I didn’t think about doing it as a profession because I had my normal job. I would shoot on the weekends.” Charming quickly learned that he was successful and good at what he was doing. “People like Rocco recognized me very fast,” he says.

Funny as it may seem, Charming didn’t learn until much later that he had a big dick. “To me it was always normal,” he laughs. “Girls were, like, it’s a good size but they weren’t, like, holy shit! I know it’s big, but I’m not standing next to another guy stroking my dick going, hey, you’ve got a small penis. It’s when I got into the porn business that I was told I’ve got a huge dick. If they say so, I guess so. And I was never a pretty boy but I’m reliable and have a good dick. I guess that makes a good performer.”

Charming doesn’t have any favorite girls to work with. “Just as long as they’re nice and really into it,” he states. “It’s always fun if a girl’s into it.” I remember Charming saying on a set how European girls tend to mask their emotions. “How do you say it?” he says. “I’ve fucked some girls and you look in their eyes- you can see them counting how much they’re being paid. They’re going over their shopping list as you’re fucking the shit out of them. Or they’re saying when can I go.” Charming says when he runs into women like this, he’ll tend to work mechanically.

“You get in your bubble.”

I ask Charming what he does to keep from popping early. He talks about maintaining his balance. “But it doesn’t always work,” he cautions. “There are girls who are really attractive.” Charming says what’s particularly bad is when he doesn’t work for three or four days. “If you’re attracted to the girl, you’re fighting it the whole time. You’re like, don’t come-. No! I think about everything that turns me off. Sometimes you go with the flow. But here in America it’s a little bit different. Today we shot a scene that was 30 minutes and we kept rocking from the first minute until the end. In Europe they shoot an hour, two hours- my longest scene was 11 hours. I think we had three breaks during that time. I think that was during winter and we were freezing to death. There you’re working for your money and it’s not fun. But in America scenes are totally different. I don’t want to say American guys are not as good as European performers but European performers make it here in America because they’ve already made it in Europe. Here, a lot of guys want to do it. They come in, they struggle and get out. The other thing is, when I started there was no Viagra.

“There were no injections- there was nothing about that,” continues Charming. “Now the competition can find things to help them.” Because he feels he’s established his name, Charming claims he doesn’t need to go the extra edge. “If you’re new in the business you have more pressure to be somewhere.”

Hallmarks of being a good performer, says Charming include knowing where the lights are, having passion and realizing that guys do the work but it’s the girls who make the product. “That’s what you have to learn,” he says. “Just because your dick is hard doesn’t mean you’re going to be a good performer.”

Charming compares working in Europe like training for the marathon. “Here you train more for speeding. You know the guy needs 30 or 40 minutes then you go for it. You work on a different level.”

For relaxation, Charming’ll lay on the couch or by the pool or go to the beach. “Simple normal things- having a good dinner,” he says. “If you work a lot, you do your scene then go to the next scene. Or you go to the gym, and the day is over.”
