While the cops have the boys downtown working in shifts, my boys say Ryan Jenkins did it- case closed. The only thing we want to know is if Jasmine Fiore was a hooker or not.
from www.latimes.com – The missing Mercedes-Benz coupe belonging to slain model Jasmine Fiore was found today in the parking lot of a West Hollywood Trader Joe’s, law enforcement sources told The Times.
Detectives found evidence on the car linking it to Fiore and plan to search for further evidence in her homicide case.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said the department was notified by a person who noticed a car matching the description of Fiore’s 2007 white Mercedes CL S550 about 12:40 p.m. in the parking lot in the 8600 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.
“They noticed the car was dusty, dirty, had no license plates and looked out of place,” Whitmore said. “We responded, and we are holding the vehicle for Buena Park police because it does indeed match the description of the vehicle belonging to the woman who was killled.”
He said he could not immediately confirm it was Fiore’s vehicle.
Buena Park police are in West Hollywood looking at the car.
Authorities believe Fiore was killed by former reality show contestant Ryan Jenkins, who killed himself Sunday in British Columbia.
Jenkins led authorities on a sprawling chase last week, first driving north in a black BMW SUV, then eluding U.S. and Canadian law enforcement officers as he raced toward the border in a speedboat. That boat was discovered in a marina across the border from Vancouver, where Jenkins, a Canadian national, was believed to have family.
Authorities allege that Jenkins killed Fiore, removed her fingers and teeth, then stuffed her body in a suitcase and dumped it in a Buena Park trash bin.
The Orange County district attorney’s office said the 28-year-old Fiore was last seen Aug. 13, when she and Jenkins went to an upscale Del Mar hotel together. Fiore and Jenkins had married earlier, then had the marriage annulled, but were still dating. Jenkins checked out of the hotel the next morning, apparently alone, according to prosecutors.
