When the famed East Coast Video Show packed its bags after their 2003 event in A.C., it marked the end of an era for adult and left a void in the hearts of industry members and consumers alike. This has helped create an interest notably greater than any other first-time EXXXOTICA location.
“We’re really excited and anxious to see what EXXXOTICA Atlantic City will become,” said J. Handy, Director of EXXXOTICA. “We remember the East Coast Video Show days. We also have heard for years from fans and businesses alike that we need to bring a show back to AC. People are excited. This is going to be big.”
The EXXXOTICA brand has made headlines around the world and has become the country’s largest event of its kind. After a banner year in 2012 which saw record-breaking shows in Miami Beach, Chicago and the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area, EXXXOTICA will certainly fit in well with Atlantic City’s newly unveiled “Do AC” slogan.
Completely new and exclusive to EXXXOTICA Atlantic City is the introduction of the EXXXOTICA Fan Choice Awards, aka The Fannys (www.TheFannys.com). This one-of-a-kind event will allow the true fan-favorites their chance to shine. All 12 of the categories, as well as the host of the event, will be voted on and decided by the fans. The Fannys, which will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino & Resort on April 20, will have a three-hour open bar and will host over 100 of EXXXOTICA’s attending stars, as well as 600 seats for exhibitors, sponsors and fans alike. “It’s safe to say we’re the adult industries premier fan event, so it just makes sense that we produce the industries only fan-chosen awards,” Continues Handy. “Everything from the actual host of the event to the last award are nominated, voted and recognized by the fans.”
EXXXOTICA Atlantic City will, of course, include all of the features that have made the event the go-to destination for men, women and couples from all walks of life. Over 100 stars and hundreds of participating companies are expected to invade the famed Jersey Shore destination, and EXXXOTICA will also present a variety of performances and events on its entertainment stage, along with informative and engaging seminars, giveaways, after parties, and the best VIP program of its kind. Superstars such as Tera Patrick, Lisa Ann, Alexis Texas, Tori Black, Teagan Presley, Stoya, Tasha Reign, Tanya Tate and Allie Haze have already confirmed for the event, with tons more announcing their appearances in the coming weeks.
In another first, EXXXOTICA Atlantic City’s location, the Trump Taj Mahal Casino & Resort, marks the first time that any EXXXOTICA is being held at an all-inclusive location as well as a casino. The Trump Taj is one of Atlantic City’s premier properties with a number of top restaurants, clubs and of course hundreds of gaming tables and machines. The Mark Etess Arena, which boasts over 75,000 square feet of exhibit space, is where EXXXOTICA’s show floor will be, while the seminars, awards and other events will be held in one of the many other function rooms on location.
