(SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA) — When those twisted bastards at KSEXradio.com designed the Porn Star Flake List, it was unexpected that some of their own hosts would be on it. Unfortunately, they find themselves in that place now, and in many cases from Jill Kelly Production girls.
After reading about Alexis Amore’s resignation from KSEX on AVN.com, the program director of the internet broadcast station, Wankus, had this to say, “I was shocked. She missed a few shows and we had been trying to get in touch with her. She finally wrote me an e-mail saying that since her new gig with Jill Kelly, she has been putting everything else off and she felt bad for acting irresponsibly. She also claimed that she would be there–next show for sure. Well, she didn’t show up for the next show and then I read on AVN that she resigned from KSEX. That’s funny, no one told me.”
Amore isn’t the only Jill Kelly Productions Contract girl KSEX had attendance problems with. Former Wanker Show CoHo, Star E. Knight, flew the coup. Not only on KSEX, but on JKP as well. After a month of searching, Knight finally contacted Wankus, claiming she was ‘taking a break’ from the business for a while.
JKP girl, Jenna Haze, was on the KSEX Flake List for a while after not showing up for an interview, or calling. She since has made good on it, accepting and performing a few interviews. The staff at the popular radio station enjoys having her in, they feel confident that she will show up when she says she will.
Haven, another JKP starlet, was late for her first KSEX visit on The Young and the Curious, then rushed out early to meet some friends after a short interview. On her second attempt to visit, as guest of the Wanker Show, Haven rescheduled a number of times, last minute, and on the final attempt, cancelled the interview, claiming “my grandmother is very sick” as a reason not to attend. Later the administration at KSEX found out Haven was attending Jill Kelly’s birthday celebration, the one where Kelly severely injured her arm.
“I’m not blaming Jill Kelly for these incidents,” Wankus stated, “it’s just funny that a lot of her girls will neglect their other commitments and drop everything for the company.” Wankus continued, “loyalty is an awesome trait, but when you leave others hanging, and view another commitment as less important, you obviously don’t get it. Like they said in Star Wars I, ‘be mindful of the future…but not at the expense of the moment.’ ”
Porn stars flaking is not uncommon to anyone who deals with them on a daily basis. Will the problem get better? In this line of work, probably not. But Wankus was proud to mention some who have always showed up on time and who he can count on to never flake.
“Layla Jade can be scheduled three months in advance and I will never worry about her showing up. She takes cabs from Woodland Hills [about $40] to the show and is always early and ready to have fun. Katie Morgan, on my staff, has never missed, never been late. Michele Raven is another one who is super reliable, as well as Tawny Roberts, anyone Dick Nasty brings [because he picks them up] and dozens of others. I’m proud to say there are a lot more on the ‘reliable’ list, then ‘unreliable.’ ”
“Unfortunately the unreliable ones really stab us in the back since we’ve promoted them, talked about them all day on the station and then they leave us hanging,” Wankus said.
KSEX has had staffers flake before. Diana Devoe is on the Ultimate Flake List, having not only flaked on her job at KSEX, but scheduling interviews on many occasions after her departure, and flaking again. Flexx of the Monday Night, urban themed show, Ebony Nights, said, “When we have Diana scheduled, we laugh now. We always say things like ‘this is the night, I can feel it, the night Diana Devoe shows up.’ ” Flexx hosts the show with adult star Sierra.
Heather Lyn is another former host, who went AWOL during her term at the station. After sending out a private investigator to find her, in fear she was in trouble, Wankus found out she just needed a break and didn’t give the courtesy of a call. Even so, Wankus gave her another gig as host of a different show, and after showing up for one show, she disappeared again.

Yes, it’s a silly little graph, but a true showing of how even for some that show up, there are times they will still flake.
“Everyone gets busy,” says Wankus, “we all have last minute changes or commitments we have to break…I’m cool with that. But, I have three phone numbers, a few email addresses and all the instant messenger services. Find me and make sure I know you’re not going to make it. If you do cancel, by speaking with me, I’m fine. But if you don’t show up, don’t call and don’t even give me the courtesy of returning my calls….forget it, the industry should know about your responsibility level.”
