EL DORADO, Kan. | A Kansas judge will be hearing oral arguments in the trial of a man charged with killing a college student who led a secret life as an Internet pornography model.

The Kansas Attorney General’s Office says a hearing is set for Tuesday in the case against Israel Mireles after his defense attorney filed a motion to dismiss charges.

Mireles is charged with capital murder, rape and aggravated criminal sodomy in the death of 18-year-old Emily Sander.

His trial is scheduled to begin Feb. 8.
