We know a couple of things about Jenna Jameson. For one, she doesn’t like to keep contracted engagements. You may have forgotten about that lawsuit she was involved in, so we’ll remind you.
Jameson was being sued in DuPage County, Illinois for blowing off contracted appearances to promote her film Zombie Strippers so she could attend Perez Hilton’s birthday bash in Hollywood.
Jameson’s argument was that her contract with the Hollywood Palms and Hollywood Blvd. cinemas in Naperville and Woodridge, Illinois, was too vague. The judge disagreed.
Paul Nordini, Jameson’s attorney, also argued the contact wasn’t legally binding because it didn’t identify the venues as a limited liability corporation, but the judge didn’t buy that either.
Jameson was to receive $10,000, first-class airfare and other perks for appearing at the theaters to sign her book, photos and DVD boxes. But after tickets were sold for the event, Jameson did not make the flight, sending a note from her doctor that she was too ill to attend.
Ted Bulthaup, who owns the Naperville and Woodridge theaters, filed his lawsuit after Hilton posted photos from his party that included Jameson whooping it up when she was supposedly sick.
We never heard if there was a settlement. Our guess? There was and Jenna coughed up but stipulations of these suits generally entail a zip your lip clause.
Now we learn that Maserati Financial Services is going after Jameson with a $107K lawsuit claiming that she’s currently driving around in a stolen Maserati Quattroporte S which she began leasing in 2010 for $2,299 a month but stopped making payments on in January. Hmmmm.
You’ll note that Jameson wrapped a car around a light pole and was arrested after her single-car accident early in the morning on May 25th. Karma? Police said Jameson showed signs of intoxication, took a field sobriety test, and was subsequently busted on suspicion of DUI.
Jameson blew a .13 and had two prescription drugs in her system at the time of her arrest — zolpidem (Ambien) and buprenorphine (Suboxone).
Jenna was also charged with two counts of DUI and one count of driving without a valid license. For those charges she faces up to a year in jail.
The car in said accident was supposedly a Range Rover, so we’re just askin’ what’s the deal with the Maserati? Where did that wind up since the leasing company has made unsuccessful attempts to repossess it?
