Kendra Jade Celebrates a Birthday; She Once Said That Bo Told Her to Stick Extasy in Her Ass

Porn Valley- Today Kendra Jade celebrates a birthday.

I first remember John Bowen bringing Jade into my office to introduce her. This was Bowen’s custom with all his new finds like Annabel Chong, Jasmin St. Claire, Angel Heart and many others.

Because of our remarkable history going back to the Eighties, Bowen always gave me first dibs on an interview. And this one had to be early 1998. Jade came in with her stepmother Kelly Jade. Kelly Jade was already worn out to look at her, and Jade, at the time, was remarkably unconvincing for someone anointed to take the porn industry by storm. Which was the way Bowen was laying her whole career game plan out.

Jade was brash, but her hair was bleach and parched. The dark roots were showing, and the trailer park was out in the AVN lot, the open for business sign flashing.

But it wouldn’t take time at all for Jade to become the life of the Internet party. This was thanks, mostly, to the Jerry Springer scandal. Bowen, for all his candor at other times, really played fast and loose with the facts on this one. I’d try to get him to fess up and Bowen would look remarkably shocked and hurt that anyone would suggest that he’d set Springer up to be the target of a shakedown. There was talk that $400,000 exchanged hands as hush money in exchange for the tape and that Springer’s wife left him as a result of the incident but later reconciled.

What brought all this on was the fact that in May 1998, tabloid stories [News of the World and The Globe] broke a story announcing that Springer had sex in a hotel room with Jade at Chicago’s Executive Plaza.

Kelly Jade was also supposed to have been in the room. Meanwhile, the next day, Jade, Kelly Jade and Bowen were on Springer’s show promoting another of Bowen’s gang bangs- gross, semen spectacles for which Bowen was becoming famous for.

Bowen and the Jades had a subsequent falling out, not unexpectedly because all of Bowen’s porno-business relationships with women ended badly. The official parting of the ways came in May, 1999.

It was all blamed on dancing, but the real fact of the matter was that Jade, the contract girl for Bowen’s company Cream, got in the middle of a brouhaha among the other partners including Jerry Garfinkle and Charlie Frey over guess what? Money.

Much of the to-do was over the alleged Springer largesse. And Jade supposedly was in on the money grab. But Bowen finessed the whole debacle by having Jade announce that the split was mutual and that she would now be in a non-exclusive capacity. So she was in but wasn’t in. She was out but wasn’t out.

“Kendra does not want to dance,” Bowen announced at the time. “It’s very difficult to be a contract girl and not dance because your major source of income must be from dancing. You can’t exist on making six pictures a year. She has been backwards and forwards with tremendous loyalty for a very long time, and has, literally, almost gone broke standing by me.”

The speech was dripping with b.s. [And there would be other issues involved like Bowen kicking Jade out of an apartment over dog shit.]

“We discussed the ridiculousness of her financial situation and that her misplaced loyalty to me was putting her in the poorhouse,” Bowen went on to say, sadness reeking from every syllable of this speech.

“We agreed for her to be released from the exclusivity of her contract. She can work for other companies at her discretion. But she will continue working for Cream. We’re actually right now doing the script for Too Hot For Porn 3.”

Jade, who had a remarkable propensity for the tall tale embellished with a beguiling, veracity stretching innocence, then issued some gooey, disingenuous statements of her own. She spoke about the world being lifted off her shoulders, that her and Bowen were still friends, yadda yadda, and that she was going to shoot R-rated stuff for Jim DiGiorgio.

The total spin and con job. But truth of the matter was, Bowen was also refereeing a series of catfights behind the scenes that involved the other contract girls Zoe and St. Claire. It was a mess. Jade was the odd woman out.

Once in the Spallone camp, though, Jade’s name became far more actively linked with gossip and scandal than anything she ever did with Bowen.

The most preposterous story apparently involved Jade and the pre-SexZ Pictures’ Bo Kenney. This one came across my desk when I was still at AVN.

Jade was under contract to Kenney. It was a one year, six picture deal, $2,000 a scene; two scenes in each movie, and a $1,000 a day for Jade to sign at CES or any of Kenney’s stores. Also in the contract was the fact that Kenney was going to take out an ad every other month in AVN. There was also no anal, and it would be condoms-only.

“Bo knew up front that I didn’t do girls,” Jade said at the time. “That was pretty much the basis of the contract. At the end of the year, it was renewable.”

Jade went on to do a movie for Kenney called The Madam. But in the thick of arguments, charges and counter charges, word had gotten out that the IRS had been hounding Jade over money involving her business deal with Kenney. According to whom you believe, Kenney had ratted her out, most likely over the Vegas affair.

[There were problems that Kenney would also have involving Bridgette Kerkove and her domain name around this time.]

Because of what happened in Vegas, there was predictable fallout over the Kenney contract, and Kenney, in retaliation, supposedly posted personal information about Jade on the Internet that included her address and phone number.

“What Bo’s doing is the most dangerous thing he could do,” Jade said in an interview at the time with me.

“This is very scary, and all over a contract? To have some crazy lunatic come kill me in the middle of the night and rape me? The thing with my phone number is terrifying and not right – I would not put someone’s life in danger. This is reckless.

“I don’t know how to stop him from posting my information. This situation is ridiculous. I don’t want to be in this contract. He says I want to keep this girl then says let’s really do some harmful shit to her and see how she likes that. I want people to be aware that this is a dangerous thing.”

Meanwhile Jade said she had worked out a deal with the government.

“Then I moved and I didn’t know how to contact them with the new address [how does that happen?],” she continued.

“I haven’t given them the new address, but I’m paying the rest of my taxes off in full this month when I file my taxes. I owe them $2,000 more off of what I owed them last year. But I file my taxes every year and I’m filing them this year. He can report whatever he likes. That’s fine.”

Jade subsequently went on the Howard Stern show and publicly announced that she wanted out of the contract.

To any who would listen, Jade would detail lurid stories of alleged sexual harassment in Las Vegas during the CES show. Spallone, at the time, talked about a tape of a phone conversation where Kenney allegedly tells Kendra to suck his dick.

Jade first met Kenney on a Bridgette Kerkove shoot.

“He was on drugs,” Jade would say.

“I explained to him that I don’t do drugs, I don’t party. I’m just not into that. He was walking around the house smoking a joint and doing Extasy. I felt it was necessary to tell him up front that I wasn’t into that and that’s pretty much how things stood. That’s how the contract was supposed to go.”

“But it started coming to the point where I said, allright Kendra, something’s a little bit fishy here. I would call him and he wouldn’t call back for a week. We’re trying to get this movie [The Madam] shot. He’s calling and saying this is what I want, this, this and that, only this, this and that isn’t in the budget. He wants me with two, three guys.

“But that’s not in the budget. Give some more money for the movie. Come up with the cash. When it came time for him to come up with the cash, he didn’t come up with it. I think he has the money to play with, but he wasn’t coming up with it. That was the first problem.”

According to Jade, during the first convention she attended with Kenney, he wasn’t encouraging her to drugs, fucking or partying.

“But, I met his other contract girl Ashley Heart,” said Jade.

“She was really upset. We talked about it. She said Bo expects her to fuck all his friends, he keeps pushing Extasy on her, she said she wasn’t into that, that she just wanted to make her movies and go home.”

Heart, said Jade, was claiming how she was having a problem being paid and Jade thought it was strange because she was getting every check she was entitled to. Then something happened.

“When CES came around and it was time for me to go to CES, I asked Bo to advance me $3,000 for my surgery because I needed my surgery [a tit job] the beginning of December in order to be recovered in time for CES,” Jade said.

“That would have been my CES pay. But, also a part of my contract was that I was supposed to get my own room. I was supposed to have transportation and all that kind of stuff. When I got off the plane, he [Kenney] had a limo at the airport waiting for me which took me over to the club where he and all his friends were partying.”

“I had already told Bo a million times that I’m not into the partying scene,” Jade continued.

“I try to live as relatively a normal life as I can. I was tired and wanted to go to my room. Bo said there was a problem, that his secretary had screwed up and I didn’t have my own room. He said you’re going to have to stay in my room. I’m going oh Jesus. This is after he told a friend of mine the last time he was in town, ‘tell Kendra I’ll give her $3,000 if she comes over and blows me.’

“I said whatever. I didn’t want to be stuck in this room. He tells me he’s got a suite with two different bedrooms so I could have my own room in there. I said I don’t want a room in your room. I want my own room. I figure I’m stuck there. Rob’s not around. Jim’s [DiGiorgio] not around. Nobody’s at CES that I can go crash with. I call Jim and I’m crying telling him I don’t want to be here, everybody’s on drugs, blah-blah-blah.”

Jade paints this elaborate picture of how Kenney and his friends were allegedly snorting coke and doing Extasy.

“I’m going this is ridiculous,” she states. ”I go into the room that I have and lock the door. Well, duh, it’s their room and they have keys. I went to sleep. They left me alone. I could hear them partying or whatever. I was really, really sick with the flu. The next morning I got up to go to CES. Bo knew I was really sick. He came into the room and handed me a whole bunch of pills. I told him a million times I don’t take pills.

“I don’t even take a Tylenol. I can’t swallow them. He tells me, ‘well we don’t swallow them, either.’ He told me they stick them in their ass. I guess it gets them high quicker.”

In her story, Jade also claims that Kenney and his friends were putting Extasy up their asses. Allegedly.

“I guess it gets them high quicker,” she tells me. “He tells me even when he takes a Tylenol he puts it in his ass because it goes to your blood quicker. I’ve never heard of that before. I told him I don’t take pills. He told me to put them in my ass. I said, no I don’t think so. He handed me Vicodins, Valiums, Xanax, you name it, he had it. I got up and went to CES still sick. I was white as a ghost.”

Jade claims Kenney would not return her calls after all was said and done.

“Finally I got fed up,” she continues. “I packed up my stuff and left. I made the effort to be there. I showed up. I was prepared to do my job. In that sense I feel I didn’t breach the contract. He did by not giving me my own room. There was so many things that he never came through on. This can be on the record. You know I’m a little person. I stuck with John [Bowen] for like a year and a half even though neither of us were happy. I’m somebody who tries to work out things when I can.

“I’m a loyal person. He [Bo] was just not doing the right thing by me. I left CES and went home. I never heard from him afterwards except him calling, ‘hey, if you want your money come over a suck my dick; I’ll pay you.’ Whether that was a pissed-off statement or whatever, that’s still a breach of a contract. I have to go over and suck his dick to collect my money? I don’t think so.”

As a follow-up to the Vegas story, Jade claimed that Kenney called up porn companies allegedly trashing her and threatening those who would hire her.

“The last time that he [Kenney] came into town, he and Rob got into it,” Jade relates.

“He called up Rob, ‘I’m coming over to kick your ass, blah-blah-blah.’ I said fuck this. I thought I had everything solved. I drove over to Kevin Beech’s that day when Bo was threatening everybody. That day Bo said pay me the $3,000 I advanced you, which I don’t feel I owe him. I showed up at CES. He said pay me that and we’ll call it quits. I’ll let you out of your contract. I said great, I’ll do it. Then, ten minutes later, he’s changing everything. He’s calling Rob, ‘forget it, the deal’s off.’ ”

Later I spoke to Rob Spallone.

“I will take a lie detector test to anything I tell you, and Bo should take a drug test,” Spallone’s saying.

“He’s nothing but a junkie. He’s told us on several occasions how he uses cocaine and goes to prostitutes and how he sticks Extasy up his own ass. He gets off faster. We had made amends of this whole problem, but he changed the deal – again. He doesn’t want to talk to us. He wants us to talk to his attorney. His ‘big mafia attorney’ he refers to him as. He screwed us around and owes Jim DiGiorgio $3500 for editing. He has not paid.

“When we made this whole deal he asked Gigi Appleton to distribute this movie. In Kendra’s contract Robert Spallone is the producer. I told him what the rules are. I get paid a week in advance. When the check clears, I hire the talent and shoot the movie. Then he told us he was going to distribute it through David Sturman. Jim had conversation with David over what kind of scenes to shoot because David was going to distribute it. Then Bo said, fuck David, he’s got enough money, I’m going to let Kevin [Beech] distribute it.”

“We were supposed to shoot the movie,” Spallone continues. “Bo doesn’t come up with the money. He comes out two days before the shoot, I meet him for breakfast. We sit for three hours and bullshit. Then I started shooting the movie. I was on the second day of shooting when he came up to the house. We talked. I said I’m already shooting the movie, I’m not going to fire everybody. I don’t work that way. I told him if you want it, give me the money it’ll be your movie.

“If you don’t give me the money it’ll be my movie. He gave me the money. We shot the movie. It’s been in editing. He’s paid for everything but the editing. Jim DiGiorgio worked as an editor for him once before and it took him like two or three months to collect his money. Bo kept telling him that the check is in the mail. This went on for awhile.”

At this point, the movie was getting passed around with no takers.

According to Spallone, it was Kenney who supposedly caused many of the problems then wanted out of them.

“His own friends are laughing at him and told him to stop this nonsense that Kendra didn’t want to be contracted to him that he bullshitted her too many times,” says Spallone.

“That would have been the end of it. He made a deal three times. He backed out of every deal. There ain’t one company in this business that has a contract girl, sends her to a show to sign and does not get her a room. A limo brought Kendra to a private party. She did not want to be there. She went back to the room and had no room. She went to the show next day.

“He wasn’t there. His friend said Bo was too stoned from being out all night. That’s why Kendra left. I don’t blame her. He broke the contract. He did not pay her. Kendra has on her telephone answering service a message from Bo. He’s telling her, ‘you want to get paid? You come over and suck my dick to get paid. And you can take your contract and stick it up your ass.’”

Jade, who would later be involved in yet another tabloid sex scandal- that one involving Kevin Federline, wound up taking her one-woman gonzo road show to Extreme Associates.

[There were stories that Rob Black was keeping her in an apartment for convenient sexual visits].

And before all was said and done, Jade would cause yet another Internet stir, this time by doing a movie for Tom Zupko in which she shoved pages of the bible up her ass.

When it comes to foreign objects planted in one’s rectum, some things apparently never change.
