Debi Diamond has been announced as part of the XXX Porn Star Network. Diamond’s show starts airing Saturdays 7 to 9PM.

But it was Max Hardcore being on the Network Friday that also caused a stir. It sounds like Max will be shooting movies again, not necessarily appearing in them. He says that’s for the young guys.

Amber Lynn said Max was one of her heroes. “People that I respect, people that I know stand for something in this industry.”

Lynn said her experience with Max is that she met him at a show. “He is the epitome of a southern gentleman. [Max is from Racine, Wisconsin].

“He’s beautiful. He looks like a cowboy; sometime he wears a cowboy hat- just a well-dressed, well mannered man. And I’ve always had a little connection to him. Every time I would run into Max at one of the shows we’d always have a sweet exchange; he’s such a doll, such a gentleman. I got a couple of girlfriends who just go nuts for him.”

“Max was charged on product that was related to the First Amendment; he was charged with obscenity a couple of different times. One of them he actually got convicted and did some time.”

“This is someone I absolutely respect.”

[Although she brought up Measure B, the most obvious thing Lynn forgot to ask Max was his opinion on the current condom legislation.]

Noting that Lynn shot one in The Grafenberg Spot with Ginger Lynn, a caller-in asked Max about his fisting scenes. Max was asked if the law’s changed because the caller said he saw these movies available for sale on the Internet.

Max noted that some of his videos which have been selling in Europe are coming back into the US, though by not his design.

“Here’s what happened to a lot of people,” he explained.

“We used to sell a lot more DVDs than we do nowadays. We shipped tons and tons of them literally by the box car load over to Europe they were manufactured here. Then we shipped a lot of them over and a lot of them ended as surplus because they weren’t selling as fast any more.

“There’s a big demand for the European titles here in the states. So the leftovers are being brought back into the states. But I don’t have anything to do with that. That’s completely out of my control. I sold them to City Lights Video over in Europe and Shotz Video. That was the end of my involvement with them [the scenes].”

Recalling The Grafenberg Spot, Lynn said, “Back then when I shot that movie, I don’t think that things were so policed. I don’t remember a law that was being broken at the time. Ginger and I were having a good time on the set. One thing led to another and she went up with her hand up there.

“It felt great and we thought it was going to be great for the movie and go with it. The next thing I know I hear from Jim Mitchell that he had to cut it out of the movie because they were going to stop the release of the film, that if we left it in we could have been charged with obscenity.

“Obviously they didn’t pay me enough to want to go to jail, so I was glad they had taken it out. At the time it was shocking to me.”

Lynn said she didn’t know that Hardcore’s movies specialized in fisting.

“I didn’t specialize in it,” he said. “But if a girl was down for it and often I would work with two girls. I always had a sidekick whether it was Catalina or Layla Rivera or Chloe Adams or Barbie Angel, I always had another gal there. And girl-girl fisting is real easy to do and it’s real pleasurable for the girls as well.”

“It’s fun,” Lynn agreed.

“It’s fun- the girls had a blast,” Hardcore continued. “Especially if they did it for the first time they thought that was the most amazing thing they’ve ever done. I’ve yet to meet a girl who didn’t enjoy it.”

“I don’t see why it’s obscene, why four fingers or, hell, you can do eight fingers, as long as you keep your thumb out, it’s okay. It’s not codified in law. It’s an understanding we have that the Feds go after fisting movies and they go after urination, bestiality, pooping and all that stuff.”

“Which is why I made two versions of my movies,” he continued.

“I made the US cut and I knew what to cut out. The European cut- the reason I was busted was because somebody without my knowledge, consent or control, had shipped to a postal inspector- but really they wanted me, they wanted to send a message and believe me I got the message loud and clear. Believe me, I’m not doing that any more.”

Hardcore explained that first the state of California went after him for a movie called Max Extreme 4 from the late 1990’s.

“They thought there was some inappropriate activity in that so they charged me with obscenity. That was back when the rule was if the girl looks underage it’s as good as her being underage. And then the Supreme Court ruled the girl actually has to be underage for there to be a charge like that. The second time was the Feds. That was the big case.”

Lynn recalled a time when female performers were told to stop wearing their hair in pigtails.

“Personal beliefs aside, I’m talking about the First Amendment right that we have about expressing ourselves in our movies, I thought that was against our First Amendment rights. Things started changing in the industry and all of a sudden you could get busted for obscenity every where you turned.”

“It seems like the Religious Right screams the loudest and talks the loudest,” said Hardcore.

“After awhile no one’s going to be able to ride a bicycle without trainer wheels and a bullet proof flak jacket and a big ass helmet. You can’t express yourself any more, and I don’t agree with it.”

Another caller-in noted that Hardcore shoots mostly anal, all with young girls.

“There was a scene- you and Paisley Hunter- you guys were outside and she played a teenager.

“She was 18 at the time,” Hardcore recalled. “I dragged her into the bushes and gave her a spanking for being a naughty girl, smoking, then I fucked her up the butt. It was a great scene and everybody enjoyed that. It was Hardcore Schoolgirls 2.”

Lynn recalled a move where Mad drew a bullseye on a girl’s butt.

“I never did the bullseye,” said Max. “I did the lipstick and would smear it on the lips and make like clown lips or write something on the forehead of the girl, on her tits, pussy lips and butt hole. Not specifically a bullseye, but the stuff was pretty funny and everybody got a kick out of it.”

Lynn points out that while the industry is being prosecuted crazy shit does go on the sets. “And the talent is all for it.”

Max got out of jail last year and decided to work again in the business.

“I couldn’t imagine doing anything else, I really enjoy it,” he said.

“I suppose if somebody gave me a billion dollars to start a new business I would, but I really love this industry. I want to be involved and I still want to make movies and I want to direct more stuff instead of being in front of the camera all the time.

“I think these days, I’m not going to do much acting. I think it’s for the young guys. But the first thing I had to do was get control of all my material. The biggest problem I faced when I came out, was not violating my probation, and I’m still on probation for one year; my biggest task was to get control of my content.

“When I was gone, they stole- people who run the tube sites got bigger and bigger. The online pirates stole a lot of my videos and they put them up- their own worthless sites- I took all that shit down by myself. I didn’t hire a lawyer or anybody else. And now pretty much the only place you can find high quality Max Hardcore movies is my official site www.max-hardcore.com

“You were doing your time and you were watching these guys rob all of your content?” asked Lynn.

“I didn’t know how bad it was getting,” said Max.

“In the time I was in jail between 2008 and 2011, the tubes got a lot bigger and they sucked up everybody’s stuff. You can hire a lawyer to send out the letters but I figure what the hell. I had five lawyers [Jeffrey Douglas and the great H. Louis Sirkin] and they didn’t do me a whole lot of good down in Florida.

I had five of them and I still got 30 months. So I started sending copyright take down letters. And I filled in the URLs of the infringing videos. They would take them down because they want to their ability to process credit cards. If I sue ‘em [the tube sites] I could win a lot of money and cause their credit card companies not to process their sites any more.

“So they’ll generally take it down. They wouldn’t at first but I just kept after them. They all pretty much fell in line, even the Russians took down my stolen videos. In fact I co-opted a couple of guys over there; so now my videos are up there but it’s all legal now. It’s come a long ways and there was a hige amount of work. It must have been in excess of 50,000- let’s just say 50,000 links I had to take down and everyone’s got to be copied, pasted, you have to find them and I did it myself.”

According to Hardcore his new site might look like a Tube site but it’s a pay site.

“I’m operating it myself and I’m also re-editing the videos that were squished down to play on DVDs. These are now at a higher quality and what you would call the director’s cut. I’m putting up these new versions of my classic secens up there and it’s really satisfying. A lot of people have gotten on board by supporting me on it.”

“It’s a very affordable site considering all the videos we have on there- is classic stuff all the way to the very latest shot.”

Lynn asked if the distinction as a membership site is Hardcore allowed to do a harder cut.

“Or are you still restricted because of the obscenity-stuff you already made?”

“I just put US versions on there- I’m not pushing the envelope on this,” said Hardcore.

“We’re hosted in the United States. I still live here in the United States. I’m playing by the American rules. If I was operating a European website which I have in the past, I would play by their rules and they’re less restrictive. They’re a whole lot less up tight over there. It’s really great being in Europe.

“The only thing they’re concerned about is that all the performers are over 18. Beyond that whatever they decided they want to do together, it’s just fine by them. As long as nobody’s getting hurt. And I’m proud to say that. In the nearly 20 years I’ve been in the business, there’s never been a serious injury on any of my film shoots. Except for my clumsy brother falling on his head one time.”

Lynn’s of the opinion that people gravitate to porn for “the vicarious thrill of what they cannot do in their own personal bedroom.”

“They come to see a show,” Hardcore continued.

“They come to see the beautiful women and hard guys doing it on the fly. People want good hard action and we pretty much pioneered that in the Nineties with gaping anal and throat fucking; upside down, bodily fluids flying all over the place. It’s a circus. We’re putting out a great show for the customers and, obviously, they respond. It’s unfortunate that the government wants to restrict what we do.

“I cut my videos now as hard as possible. They might be qualified by US guidelines but this is some tough stuff. When you see a girl upside down being toe fucked and ass fucked at the same time, that’s no joke. That’s real action there.”

“That sounds hot to me, but it doesn’t sound like you’re going to garner any obscenity charges at this point,” said Lynn.

Yeah, like Max needs a sixth attorney.
