Nadia Styles is Porn Again; Another Shelley Lubben Disciple Returns to Smut

I’m know people are gonna be surprised, but I’m actually gonna give AVN some credit here. They are learning. They should give me credit for pointing out that when you do a story, you need to fill in all of the details.

Let me explain what I mean by that.

A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that Andi Anderson was returning to the adult business. She and Pipeline Media, which is run by reviewer Roger T. Pipe, put out a press release that after a hiatus of several years, she was coming back to porn and was gonna be bigger and better than before. I actually shot Andi a couple of months before she retired.

When I read the press release, I was drawn to it, not only because I knew Andi from shooting her, but because when she left she aligned herself with Pink Cross. Pink Cross is run by Shelley Lubben, a former porn performer who started this Christian outreach organization to “rescue” wayward starlets from the clutches of the evil pornography industry. Andi Anderson did interviews on behalf of Pink Cross, where she talked about doing drugs because of porn, thought about committing suicide because of porn and being in the industry made her a shell of a human being and yadayadayada. You know the gimmick.

Of course, she was denounced by the industry for going to Pink Cross, because when you leave the business, you make a pinky swear to tell the world that your experience in porn was awesome and nobody does drugs and nobody gets diseases. Which is bullshit, but the industry never admits it, they just vilify and demonize anybody who tells it like it is.

When Andi and Roger put out the press release, there was no mention whatsoever of her going to Pink Cross. I talked about this on my show and in an article on AdultFYI www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=60326 I marveled at the fact that Andi Anderson had announced that she was returning to the business and the press release that was put out basically pretended that her retirement speech denouncing the industry never existed. The AdultFYI article was a roadmap of what not to do when you announce a return to the business.

Now, lo and behold, there is an article in AVN announcing that former Shelley Lubben disciple Nadia Styles is also making a return to the awesome pornography industry. She has figured out after a few years away that getting fucked up the ass and being a good little hooker is the only thing she knows how to do. But Nadia Styles also did a Pink Cross campaign and made a video. She did the whole thing, the industry’s bad, the people are bad, they make you do horrible things and the Pink Cross and Shelley Lubben saved me.

When she decided to return, she got together with ATMLA. ATMLA called Peter Warren at AVN and said that they needed to do a detailed, well thought out press release announcing Nadia Styles’ comeback so Rob Black doesn’t make her look stupid like he did Andi Anderson. So Nadia Styles and Peter Warren put out a press release that eloquently stated that her time with Shelley Lubben was very brief and she was only there for a minute and then she got out. She wanted everybody to know that the Pink Cross Nadia Styles is the ghost of Nadia Styles past.

From AVN:

““I am definitely not affiliated with Pink Cross,” Nadia told AVN. “I cut ties with them two or three months after I sought out their help. Their agenda did not fit accordingly to what I wanted for myself.””

“She elaborated, “I now understand that I affiliated myself with a person/foundation that was against porn. Honestly, that moment in time when I left the industry, it had nothing to do with the industry. I was fighting something much more personal and deep within myself. I was not fighting against porn. I was fighting against me.””

OK. I get what she is trying to say and she is crafting her words very carefully, but I’m actually confused. Nadia Styles is a top notch hooker/porn chick. She used to bang around with Sunny Lane, another top notch hooker. During this time, she figured out that the porn biz was not for her. It was full of drugs, booze and sexually transmitted diseases. She had nowhere to go, so she went to Shelley Lubben and figured that would be her golden ticket and Shelley would hook her up with a job where she would make six figures a year sitting around watching TV and waiting for the phone to ring. After a few months, she realized that Shelley Lubben and Pink Cross were not right for her. Now that the scam that she was involved with didn’t work out and she’s broke, she’s back in the industry and saying that she made all of those claims because of her own feelings and her battle with herself.

What was that battle? Drugs? You wanna bet that when she comes back and she’s embraced by the industry again you will see her at a party with a beer in one hand and a joint in the other? This is actually more confusing than the Andi Anderson story.

More:

“Nadia stressed that during her brief time with the Pink Cross she was looking to place blame for her troubles anywhere but on herself, and that the things she said and did then were not a genuine reflection of her sentiments toward the industry.”

So she says she was mad at herself and not the industry. She was brainwashed into placing blame and saying bad things about the industry instead of placing blame on herself and talking about the bad things she did. But when she talks about getting a sexually transmitted disease, how is that placing blame on herself? Did she not get sexually transmitted diseases? Did she lie about that?

This is a pretty interesting mea culpa. She blames herself for talking bad about the industry for giving her sexually transmitted diseases and making her smoke weed and abuse pills and alcohol. So is Nadia Styles a straight edge now? You all know that’s not the case. This girl’s painted herself in the corner, because if you read between the lines of what she is saying, it’s not the porn industry’s fault that she took drugs that made her hit rock bottom, so instead of checking into rehab, she went to Pink Cross and they brainwashed her into saying that she did all of that because porn made her feel like such a piece of shit. Nadia Styles is now saying that’s not true. She said that is was because of her own feelings and now she’s realized that Pink Cross is bad and porn is good. So now she’s back in porn.

If you ever see Nadia Styles again and she’s fucked up, that kinda blows that whole theory out of the water.

““To all those that may have negative feelings about what I did in the past, I ask not to take my personal rock-bottom hit as an insult,” she implored. “I obviously did not take responsibility for the decisions that I made in the industry and in my life. The industry could not make me do anything I didn’t want to do, nor could it hurt me. I hope that people will see that my actions in the past were catharsis on my end and don’t take those actions personally.””

So all those things that she did where she hit rock bottom and she said was the fault of the industry, she didn’t mean. It was the booze and drugs that made her lash out. Now the drugs and booze are gone and she’s back to doing what she loves; getting fucked up the ass and being a hooker.

This is interesting:

“Reiterating that she left the Pink Cross shortly after joining it, Nadia lamented, “Unfortunately, I could not take down the interviews that I did for them on the internet. Also, Wikipedia would not let me change what was said on there about my involvement with them. But now with the new interviews that I will be doing, I believe my Wikipedia can now be changed. Most of all, I hope that people see that I am not mad at or trying to hurt the industry or anyone involved in it. I respect you all, and the industry.””

“I was just talking bad about the industry because I was fucked up on drugs.”

“Why were you fucked up? Because of the industry?”

“No, because of the booze and drugs.”

“Why did you do booze and drugs?”

“Because I wasn’t happy with myself.”

“Why weren’t you happy with yourself?

“Because the industry…Oh wait, no. It’s not the industry.”

Nadia, you gotta help us out here, honey.

I think Nadia is back because she missed all of that easy money and realized that it was the only thing she could do and have any kind of success. Turning tricks and swallowing jizz is a lot easier than working at a hot dog stand or being a stocker at Ralph’s.

It’s really amazing when people leave the industry and blame it for all their problems and then they come back and blame it on booze and drugs. So what’s different? Is she not gonna do drugs anymore? Bullshit. She wore out her welcome at Pink Cross or with whatever sugar daddy was supporting her for the last few years and now she’s back in porn because she knows that working at Ralph’s ain’t the way to go.

“Asked what she thinks will be different about this fresh-slate journey into porn, she said, “This time around I’m taking a new, respectful approach. I’m much more grounded and sober-minded than I was back in the day. I’m acknowledging the business aspect of being an adult film star and will not take any work for granted. I see my return as an opportunity to be better than I was the first time around.””

Nadia, what does that mean? Five years ago, you were in the business when it wasn’t as dead as it is now. What is different now? If anything, getting work when you’re 31 years old and have already shot for everybody is gonna be more difficult than it was before. I’m lost.

“In addition to improving as a performer, Nadia said she hopes to “incorporate my passion in art with my adult career. While I was out of the industry, I got very involved in the art world. I learned photography and started to do mixed media artwork. I hope to do a photo book that is about adult film stars—yes, I know it’s been done, but I have some different ideas—and I hope to work with as many performers as possible.””

Nadia, I get it. You’re broke and you’re trying to spin out of the fact that you thought you were done with the adult business. Just like Jenna Jameson. “I will never spread my legs for the adult industry again.” A couple years later she’s fucked up at the XBIZ Awards. “Hi everybody! Miss me?”

So I have to give Peter Warren and AVN credit. They put a better effort into explaining the bullshit behind Nadia Styles’ return. You at least created a better bullshit facade. My hat’s off to you. You learned from the Andi Anderson and Roger T. Pipe debacle. I’ll give you guys that. You did good. I appreciate when you go the extra mile to cover bullshit.

I wouldn’t worry about Nadia Styles returning to the business after going with Pink Cross. The porn biz is very forgiving. When people like her talk about what happens to them in the industry, they’re just speaking the truth. It’s the liars and bullshitters who are hurting the business. It’s John Stagliano, it’s Mr. Marcus, it’s Steven Hirsch, Diane Duke, Derek Hay.

When Derek Hay bamboozles a girl into signing a contract that is complete bullshit and is able to convince them that if they don’t do what he says that they will be blacklisted for however long the remainder of the contract is, that is what hurts people in the business. It’s not a girl saying that there are tons of drugs and booze in porn and she gets tons of sexually transmitted diseases. That’s all true. Most girls will tell you that they never had an STD before they got into the adult business. If a girl is promiscuous in the real world, they usually use condoms. If a girl goes to a bar and goes home with a guy, nine times out of ten, a condom is involved. A girl who comes from Kentucky or wherever and moves to LA and ends up doing porn is usually someone who had a boyfriend who was the only one they had sex with. They come to LA and for many of them it’s the first time they eat cum or have someone give them a cream pie.

Getting a sexually transmitted disease in porn is a given. We get mad when someone tells the truth about it. But we don’t get mad when John Stagliano performs with girls and doesn’t tell them he’s HIV positive. Mr. Marcus conceals his test and performs with syphilis, which can leave you blind or kill you if left untreated. A couple of years later, the biggest company in the business brings him back to work on a TV show with Joan Rivers. That doesn’t make the industry look bad? But some girl telling the truth about getting diseases in the business does?

Anybody can do anything in this business and be brought back in. They can just blame me. I’m the industry scapegoat. Mike South says I’m to blame for the industry getting regulated by the state. www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=60344 A girl can just say that I told her to say these things and they will be forgiven. “Oh, Rob Black told you to say that? OK, you’re forgiven. Come on back.” I’m like Charles Manson. I pull peoples’ puppet strings. I’m the industry’s biggest boogeyman. But Steve Hirsch and John Stagliano are awesome dudes.

What has Steven Hirsch done for people in the business? Nothing. What has he done for himself? Everything. What has he done for the business? It’s not like he’s Bill Gates and building foundations. He doesn’t take any of his money and open a clinic or establish a foundation for performers. What does he do? Celebrity sex tapes? Letting Mr. Marcus back in when he committed the cardinal sin of faking a test and infecting performers? Maybe Mr. Marcus just told them that Rob Black gave him syphilis.

This is the business. Girls like Nadia Styles have to create elaborate stories when they tell the truth so the industry won’t be mad at them.

She should’ve just blamed me.
