CHICAGO — Many years in the making, the Chicago law firm of J.D. Obenberger [pictured] and Associates has launched XXXLaw.com. It's the go-to site for anyone who's interested in legal resources, cases and commentary pertinent to the adult entertainment industry.
According to entertainment attorney Obenberger, a lot of the material on the site has never been made public before.
XXXLaw.com includes a news section, as well as entire sections on 18 § U.S.C. 2257, federal and state laws, copyright and the definition of obscenity. It also includes various articles, some dating back to the 1990s, and cases of particular interest to adult industry business professionals.
"The massive '2257 Primer' itself took six months to write, or more accurately, to update from a 2006 piece," Obenberger told www.Xbiz.com
"It's just about a book in size. I've added the Bieyanka Moore saga to the Traci Lords narrative as an object lesson about why it is that 2257 does not work."
