Q: Letís start at the beginning: Can you tell us how you initially entered the adult industry?
First, I was webcam modeling and honestly, I just got kind of bored of sitting in my bedroom by myself all the time. So, I Googled agencies and flew out to California, and started doing porn. (Laughs)
Q: This month marks your first year in the industry, is that right?
Q: Have you enjoyed your time in the adult business thus far?
Q: Who have been some of your favorite studios and performers to work with?
I really like Zero Tolerance Ė Mick Blue is an amazing director. I really like Evil Angel, I like Kevin Moore. I like (Erik) Everhard, Mr. Pete. I like everybody I meet most of the time. (Laughs)
Q: Are there any companies or talent that you havenít had a chance to work with yet, but would like to in the near future?
As far as male talent goes, I have to say Iíve been wanting to do a scene with Shane Diesel.
Q: Do have any long-term aspirations in the industry or maybe a visual of where you see yourself ten years from now?
At that time, I hope to see myself behind a camera doing some directing. I also plan on having some mainstream stuff going on that is not adult-related. Not acting, but business-wise.
Q: You have been nominated for an Urban X Award at next monthís ceremony for Rising Star in the female category, is that right?
Yes, I was nominated for that this year.
Q: How do you feel about that?
I was excited because even though interracial is on my profile, I donít get booked for it as often as I do everything else. So, I was actually really happy when I saw my name. (Laughs) I was like, ďWhoo!Ē
Q: Will you be attending the actual awards show?
Yes, Iíll be at the Urban X Awards.
Q: Now that you have been in the industry for a full year, were there any misconceptions you had about the adult business beforehand that you have discovered to be untrue?
I donít really have any misconceptions about anything. Everybody that Iíve met has been pretty legit. The only thing I would say is that you should get with an agency before you come out here.
Q: Are there any false impressions about the porn industry from people outside the business that bother you in particular?
A lot of people donít respect us. They still think weíre walking STDs, that weíre living life immorally. But it really doesnít bother me. I just wish that they would leave us alone and let us do what we do and they can go do what they do.
Q: I saw a couple of interviews where you spoke out against the newly passed condom mandate for adult film sets. Do you feel it should be a performerís choice whether or not to use condoms during shoots, then?
I definitely think it should be a performerís choice whether or not there are condoms in a scene. A lot of the time, the sex you have in porn is not the same as the sex that you have outside of porn. Itís very aggressive, itís very fast-paced, itís very rough a lot of times, and itís a lot more extreme than what the average couple experiences. And sometimes condoms wouldnít be so good in that situation and could actually cause damage.
Q: May I ask a few questions about yourself as a person?
Q: Great. Can you tell us where you were raised and how you would describe yourself growing up?
Well, I was a military brat, I moved around a lot. I lived in Tennessee and Georgia the longest, but I was actually born in Texas. I always lived in the country.
Q: How about interests and hobbies outside of work?
I like to go bowling, I like to work out, I like to go to the beach, I like to smoke a lot of Cannabis (Laughs). I like to ride around in the car and just listen to music.
Q: Who are some of your favorite musicians?
I listen to a lot of Bloodhound Gang, a lot of Sublime. I like Snoop, Cypress Hill. I also listen to a lot of trance; I like Paul Oakenfold.
Q: What about TV shows and movies?
I really like the new show Workaholics and I love the show Blue Mountain State and I honestly feel they should put the show back on the air. They are trying to do it right now, but it needs to happen.
And then, I like Super Troopers, Grandmaís Boy Ė I like funny movies.
Q: I watched an interview with you online Ė I believe it was on set Ė and it was really great. You spoke a lot about your background before entering the adult industry and mentioned that you plan to release a book in the future.
Yeah, Iím actually working on writing it right now.
Q: Have you spoken to publishers?
No, not yet. I really donít know if Iím going to go through a publisher or if Iím just going to try and figure out a way to publish it myself.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about what the book will be about?
Itís pretty much just going to be my life story, since itís really fucked up. I think it will be a good retrospective.
Q: Is there something about yourself that you feel would surprise most people?
Hmm Ö I donít know. (Laughs)
Q: Are there any current or upcoming projects in the works that you would like to mention?
I just did a scene with Lexington Steele for a new movie that Kevin Moore is going to be producing for Evil Angel. I donít know the title exactly, but the movie is all about Lex.
Q: And I heard that you plan to have a website up soon, is that right?
I do hope to get my website up soon, yeah.
Q: To finish up, is there anything you wish to say to readers?
That they should all just smoke a blunt! (Laughs)
Q: Thanks, I appreciate you taking some time to speak with me today. Have a great day and I wish you continued success.
