You think some of that $12 Billion this business makes would have made its way into their pockets.
LOS ANGELES — from www.xbiz.com : Despite a recent site launch, open casting call, and an upcoming announcement of a new contract star, Starlet Entertainment and its affiliate arm, StarletBucks, has gone out of business.
XBIZ has confirmed that Starlet Entertainment officially closes its doors Sept. 7, after its investors, Tim Agajanian and his silent partner, pulled all funding from the program with reportedly no explanation, and have terminated its staff’s employment.
The company’s two sites, BrianaBanksReloaded.com and AlexisTexass.com — which only just launched Aug. 25 — have been shut down, and though they are still viewable, new members are unable to join.
Agajanian currently is working with Epoch and Starlet’s former billers to credit back recurring members, and all official industry partners have been notified of the company’s closure.
In a letter sent to affiliates earlier this week, Starlet announced that it will pay its affiliates accordingly up until Sept. 5, with checks being mailed this week. They also have been instructed to remove all links and promotional support from their sites.
