New Orleans, LA/ A! Entertainment News – After the cleaning of the streets at the end of Fat Tuesday, one party ends and another begins, in true New Orleans form.

On Wednesday, February 17 over a dozen feature entertainers will invade the streets to compete in the 10th Annual G-String Awards. If you thought Mardi Gras left a mess, you should see the Penthouse Club stage after some of the top features entertainers explode, splash, soap, glitter, lotion, and confetti during their shows in the hopes of winning gold in their selected division.

The competition is broken down into three categories: Showgirl, Magazine, and Porn division. Each separate group vying for gold, silver, or bronze medal in their grouping.

According to their official website, the invitation only competition has fourteen feature entertainers scheduled to attend, one of them being the current overall winner Rachelle Laree, who will do a special performance before the 2010 winner is medaled.

The Penthouse Gentlemen’s Club in New Orleans has a long Big Easy style history with the building itself being hundreds of years old and the strip club formerly called The Gold Club before the Katrina disaster.

This year’s competitors and attendees include Shay Lynn, Pason, Gia Marley, Gia Nova, Tawnie Monroe, Krystle Cummings, Robyn Foxx, Aspen Reign, Hailey Hart, Charisma Capelli, Jaded Dawn, Kimberly Johnson, Eva Lauren, and Christina Aguchi.

The Penthouse G-String Awards runs from Wednesday February 17 through Saturday February 20th.
