BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.(BUSINESS WIRE) — Three leading beverage distributors in the New York/New Jersey area have become the latest to offer Playboy Energy Drink.
Play Beverages, LLC (www.playboyenergy.com) said today that it has signed agreements in New York with Harold Levinson Associates and Pure Water Solutions, Inc., both of Farmingdale, and in Southern New Jersey with Beverage Incubators of Egg Harbor Township.
Playboy Energy Drink is manufactured by Play Beverages and is available in 8.4- and 16-ounce sizes in both regular and sugar free. Introduced in South Florida and California in late 2007, Playboy Energy Drink is also distributed in 11 countries in Europe and the Middle East.
“There is great excitement in the beverage industry about Playboy Energy Drink,” said Robert Nistico, president of Play Beverages. “The Playboy name is widely recognized and very attractive at retail, and Playboy Energy Drink has been an overwhelming favorite in taste tests. It is a winner to be sure, whether sold on- or off-premises, here in the U.S. or around the world.”
He said distribution of Playboy Energy Drink is continuing to grow domestically, with three new distribution agreements announced in Northern and Southern California last week and with other agreements now being finalized. “In 2010,” Mr. Nistico said, “our plan is to have Playboy Energy Drink available from coast-to-coast.”
The agreement with Harold Levinson Associates (www.hladistribtors.com) will bring Playboy Energy Drink to a wide range of convenience and grocery stores throughout the Northeast territory served by the company, which has distribution facilities in Farmingdale and Albany, New York, as well as Auburn, Massachusetts and Naugatuck, Connecticut.
Also based on Long Island, Pure Water Solutions (PWS) is a marketing and beverage distributor serving Suffolk and Nassau counties, focusing on what it calls “unique beverage products with strong strategic advantages over their competition,” including Playboy Energy Drink. PWS has more than 1,000 accounts including 7-Eleven(R), Handy Pantry and Atlantis Marine World.
The agreement with Beverage Incubators (www.beverageincubators.com) will bring Playboy Energy Drink to a wide range of bars, restaurants, convenience and grocery stores throughout the South Jersey territory of Camden, Gloucester, Cape May, Atlantic, Cumberland, and Salem counties.
