from www.nydailynews.com – Charges could be filed against former porn star Jenna Jameson, who was arrested Saturday for alleged battery.

The onetime “queen of porn” was taken into police custody in Newport Beach, Ca. for assaulting an unnamed victim.

Jameson tweeted, then deleted a message about her friend and personal assistant Britney Markham, who she says ‘robbed’ her, and is accusing Jameson of ‘gusting’ her.

On Monday Jameson, 38, tweeted a different account of what happened, suggesting her friend and assistant Britney Markham may have been the other person involved.

“Wow just got robbed by a friend @britneymarkham she accused me of gusting her, and broke into my home and took everything,” she wrote, before the tweet was deleted.

The former ‘queen of porn’ was on her way to a birthday party held in her honor over the weekend when the alleged battery took place.

The twitter page for Markham describes her as a transgender adult film actress, and Jameson’s assistant.

Markham also posted a photo of herself in the hospital to Instagram, with a caption denying Jameson’s claims.

“NOT TRUE! How could u say that u attacked me and im in the hospital [because] of u,” she wrote. “This what u did to me and u accuse me of stealing.”

Orange County prosecutors will assign Jameson a court date if they have enough evidence to charge her with battery, police officials told the LA Times.
