OKLAHOMA CITY — from www.koco.com – Eyewitness News 5 has learned that one of the victims in Monday’s deadly house fire recently worked at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch in Nevada.
Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof said Brooke Phillips, 21, of Moore, was one of four adults found dead in a fire in southwest Oklahoma City on Monday. The blaze near Southwest 56th Street and Kentucky Avenue killed four people — three women and one man.
Authorities said one of the victims was pregnant, and Hof confirmed to Eyewitness News 5 that Phillips was pregnant. Hof said Phillips was a “good girl” and had recently returned to Oklahoma because of her pregnancy.
Phillips’ stage name was Hayden Brooks, and she had only recently started working for Hof.
Of Phillips, Hof said, “She was the life of the party. The last time I talked to her was 10 days ago. She had moved back to Moore to be with her family after finding out she was pregnant.”
Phillips was also known from the HBO series “Cathouse”.
“She was my scrabble buddy,” added “Cami Parker,” another Bunny Ranch worker. “We all miss her very much.”
So far no arrests have been made.
Police talked to Jose Fernando Fierro, 31, the man who rented the home. Fierro’s attorney said his client is not considered a suspect. However, officers would not detail the context of their communications with Fierro.
Oklahoma City police confirmed that there are no suspects and have been no arrests in the case.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but fire investigators said it was set on purpose.
The fire broke out around 5:20 a.m. Monday near Southwest 56th and Kentucky.
