(VAN NUYS, CA) — Paul Thomas began production today on two new, big-budget, “Debbie does Dallas” films: “Debbie Does Dallas: East-West” and “Debbie Does Dallas: Revenge.” The stories are based on the characters of the original 1978 film directed by Gerard Damiano. Vivid superstar Sunrise Adams, will star in the title role of Debbie.

The Texas-born Sunrise, who became one of the elite Vivid Girls last year, said it “is really an honor to be cast as ‘Debbie’ and to know that I’ll be part of the history of this amazing feature that had its original roots in Texas.”

The films, which are being shot over a ten-day period, will be the first new “Debbie Does Dallas” movies produced in four years. The release date for “Debbie Does Dallas: East-West” is tentatively scheduled for Fall 2003.
