from www.blogs.houstonpress.com – So Searchlight, a new web series from the Fleshlight folks in Austin — yes, they are based in Austin — pits porn stars Alexis Texas, Kayden Cross, and Asphyxia Noir in a contest to decide who will be the next Fleshlight model.

For those not in the know, Fleshlight makes real-life molds of the vaginas, anuses, and mouths of your favorite porn actresses in handy, tactical, portable, flashlight form for you to do whatever you want with them. Some people use them as pencil holders, Thanksgiving table pieces, while other guys actually have intercourse with them, with their man junk.

Being a Fleshlight Girl is pretty lucrative, with the name recognition, promo opportunities, and the fact that your fans can own a piece of you, without criminal trespassing charges. It’s like being made into an action figure, but way, way, different.

During SXSW this past March, Lisa Ann — star of Who’s Nailin’ Paylin’ pictures and current Fleshlight gal — was on Sixth Street with a gigantic version of the sex toy, meeting fans and taking pictures and in the process causing boyfriends and husbands to explain who she was and how they knew what she did to befuddled partners.

The series is filmed in part on the Fleshlight Ranch in Austin (!!!), and is hosted by Fleshlight-er Jenna Haze. Over ten weeks, the reality series will see the porn trio vying for sex toy glory with a series of challenges to see who is worthy of getting their naughty bits molded.
