WWW- Jonathan Silverstein writes: Hey Gene, Since I saw the recent piece on your site called “Damaged Pictures: Year’s Top Company” I feel that it’s necessary to set the record straight about where I stand in this mess.

I’m going to keep this as short and sweet as possible – and paraphrase the email I just sent John T. Bone.

First of all, although I’m not happy about this entire situation – I am pleased that John clearly made mention of the following when posting to his blog at www.johntbone.com.

“Vittorio, thankfully, understands that the movies were given to Jonathan to sell by Steve from Damaged, and holds Jonathan blameless.”

“Vittorio knows Jonathan well and speaks highly of his integrity”.

The fact that he stated the aforementioned means a lot. I know he could have taken a totally different approach.

Now, on to the resolution:

All Damaged titles have been removed from TheContentStore.com. My business and reputation are far too important to me. I will not have my integrity questioned or tarnished any further. I have ceased representing their product entirely.

I’ve spoken to Vittorio and we are totally cool. This unfortunate situation has been resolved amicably. Anything else regarding this will be handled privately.

As far as I’m concerned, this has been a lesson learned. Time to move on. Nothing further to see here.
