HOLLYWOOD, CA- The Hollywood fairy tale finally came true where the small company surprises the entertainment titans by winning the biggest trophies at the Academy Awards only this time Sex Z Pictures became the king of the porn world with a surge of AVN Award wins in Las Vegas including Best Video Feature for their hardcore thriller Corruption.
Sitting at two jubilant tables in the center of the massive Mandalay Bay Events Center, Sex Z Pictures’ maverick owner Bo Kenney and his team lead by super director Eli Cross appeared to have their own party going on as bottle after bottle of champagne was emptied during a series of toasts that culminated in the entire group taking center stage as Cross and Kenney accepted the most coveted trophy of the evening.
“I am so proud of Corruption and so proud of my team right now that there aren’t enough words to express exactly how I feel,” Kenney said in the AVN pressroom as photographers snapped photos of the victorious Corruption entourage backstage.
“I’m a little bit stunned right now, happy but stunned,” remarked the blond star of Corruption Hillary Scott who helped make it a clean sweep by earning the Best Actress Award and the Female Performer of the Year trophy to complete a truly remarkable night for those sitting at the Sex Z Pictures’ table.
“This is a moment I will never forget and it shows that hard work does get rewarded and I couldn’t be happier for Sex Z Pictures and everybody involved in Corruption especially Kylie,” stated the movie’s aggressive director Eli Cross who was referring to co-star Kylie Ireland which he mentioned could have easily received a producer’s credit for her involvement in Corruption.
Corruption tipped off a world of controversy from the moment it was released on DVD with its boundary pushing hardcore content and the engaging story about a powerfully corrupt United States Senator that would stop at nothing to satisfy his sexual and political demons.
“Corruption is a real movie with extreme sex and the voters recognized that this was the best adult movie of the year which we felt would be the case. We are extremely happy with our trip to Las Vegas and winning all of these awards has opened the floodgates to remarkable new sales,” Kenney continued.
Barely four years old and with a reputation for teen movies and wild Hollywood porn industry parties, Sex Z Pictures is now firmly on the map of the adult movie scene as Corruption boldly leads the way to breathtaking innovative movies for 2007.
Corruption won 7 AVN Awards including Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Editing, Best Actress and Best Video Feature.
