from www.radaronline.com – Laurence Fishburne’s daughter Montana Fishburne talked about her adult film debut on a Detroit radio show, dishing on why she’s taking this career path, her relationship with her famous father and reports she’s been arrested for prostitution.

Montana told WJLB’s Coco, Foolish & Mr. Chase In The Morning on Tuesday, “I’ve looked at my father growing up, and he’s always been successful but, for me, I was interested in porn, since high school.”

Asked if she discussed the decision to do adult films with her father, she said, “No I haven’t. I considered how he would feel before it started, but I didn’t let that affect my decision on what I want to do.”

She said she was restless to become a performer in the adult industry the minute it became an option.

“I just didn’t want to wait. I turned 18 and I was like ‘alright,'” she said. “This is something I’ve been thinking about for four years, so I didn’t want to wait. I was so excited to get started and I am so excited.”

She told the radio show that if she had a daughter who was getting into porn, she would “feel proud of her because despite everything … even though I may not want her to do what she’s doing, I’d be proud of her because I know its gonna be a hard road and there’s gonna be a lot of haters, but if she’s pursuing what she wants to, then I’ll be proud for her standing up for herself.”

Montana said she doesn’t feel painted into a corner by her decision to do porn, as she said she can “go into a lot of different branches of the entertainment industry.

“I’m not trying to be like anybody else — I want to start with porn,” she said. “If it goes into mainstream, than it goes into mainstream. But like I said, I’m still young that I can switch and do a lot of different things right now. I understand porn will block me from some of the mainstream work, but I’m not worried about it.”

Montana said she’s not into drugs and has never tried cocaine. She added that she was a good high school student and has never experimented sexually with another woman.

She denied recent reports she’d been arrested on prostitution charges last year.

Montana said she was “never a prostitute. I’ve been hearing so much. I’ve been hearing some girl named NeNe talk about me — I don’t even know her.”

The only question she didn’t give a response to was about the splotches of discolorations on her derriere, easily visible in the film.

Montana’s movie was released Tuesday.
