Zagreb – from www.croatiantimes.com – Porn director Pierre Woodman is on a lookout for a budding starlet and hopes to find one amongst the visitors to the Croatia’s first erotic fair Eros4U, being held in Zagreb until November 28.

The 48-year-old director is a special guest of the fair.

“I have worked with Croatian women. Once in Paris and once in Budapest, but never with a Croatian who is here at the moment, in Croatia,” says Woodman, who says he is looking for local talent for his next project.

Last year in Sofia, Woodman discovered a girl who, he says, is now “very popular.” Translated into money terms, it means that she earns around 2,000 Euros for 20 minutes of work on film.

The average price for women in porn, however, is between 500 to 1,000 Euros per movie. The beginners earn around 300.

Woodman was once himself a beginner. While waiting to turn 19 so that he could become a policemen, he worked for six months as a porn actor.

He saved some money, bought a professional camera and while working with the police, shot photos at porn sets on the side. He had access to the world of the erotic movie industry through his ex-wife, a friend of a well-known porn director.

Today, Woodman shares his life with a 30-year-old Hungarian Sophie Paris. They plan to get married next year after nine years of being together.

“I hope we will have kids and that this still works well,” he said, pointing to his groin area.
