LOS ANGELES- In less than a year since his triumphant return to the adult industry and on the heels of several major blockbusters, the talented Dale DaBone is donning the iconic gold sunglasses, bushy sideburns and rhinestone jumpsuit for his role as Elvis Presley in Axel Braun’s highly anticipated “Elvis XXX: A Porn Parody” for Vivid.
In a rare example of pitch-perfect casting, the veteran performer will be gyrating and thrusting his hips–both clothed and without—through milestones in the singer’s career. Along with bearing a strong resemblance to Presley he shares the same birthday: January 8th, which also happens to be the movie’s release date.
“I’ve always had a tremendous amount of respect for Elvis so I wanted to deliver the best performance possible to honor the King. I didn’t want to be just another impersonator, so after studying performances and archival footage to get his moves just right, I began to study his behavior and motivations when he wasn’t in the spotlight” said DaBone.
Instead of a typical trailer, the official teaser showcases DaBone in the spotlight alone amidst a black abyss performing one of the releases many flawless parody tracks.
DaBone will be portraying “the King” in various points in his life and even belting out a few parodies of his hit songs in the carefully crafted film. Along the way he will encounter parody versions of James Dean (James Deen), Muhammad Ali (boxer Tyler Knight), Priscilla Presley (Andy San Dimas), Ann-Margaret (Lexi Belle) and other celebrities in this colorful re-imagining of Elvis’ sex life.
DaBone is also playing 70’s TV icon “The Six Million Dollar Man” opposite Bree Olson in award winning director Will Ryder’s latest “Not the Bionic Woman/Six-Million Dollar Man XXX” parody for X-Play.
DaBone is nominated for four AVN Awards, including “Best Actor” and “Best 3-Way Sex Scene” for Vivid’s blockbuster “Batman XXX: A Porn Parody”, “Best Group Sex Scene” for Wicked’s “Speed,” and “Most Outrageous Sex Scene” for Hustler’s “This Ain’t Avatar XXX 3D” for Hustler Video.
DaBone will be signing at the Pornstar Tweet/Galaxy Publicity booth at the upcoming Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.
