Adult Video Liquidators Serves as a Model in Zoning Compliance

Hamden, Connecticut- Neighborhood businesses in Hamden CT had called the zoning department in town with complaints of an adult business signage.

In turn, David Moon, owner of Adult Video Liquidators, of 2259 State Street called the zoning office in response to the infraction and found that the signage on the building and on the window was indeed in
violation of the local zoning laws.

With a quick response and eagerness to work with the towns zoning personnel, the problem was quickly rectified with a small amount of work and minimal cost.

Holly Masi the towns zoning official, asked how long it would take to fully comply. In one weeks time Moon met again with Masi on site and was applauded for the efforts and was given the a-ok status and the business was in full compliance.

According to Masi, the towns zoning official, “There are many businesses in town that are not in compliance, I am using the adult business as a model of how businesses should be pro active in complying with the zoning laws in town, I applaud this young entrepreneur for his efforts and in making the daunting task of enforcing the zoning laws a pleasure, other businesses in the area should take a lesson from this young businessman”

According to Moon, “working with zoning as opposed to working against them is quite the easy task. Asking the official to point out in the laws and help list exactly what is required and just simply complying with every item solves the problem. It also allows businesses to properly and legally, at the same time keeping our business areas clean and presentable which will welcome more customers into the area.

“I find it almost amusing that the very same business that complained, will now have to change their signage, for the complainers were further out of compliance than myself, which hopefully will further make this section of Hamden more appealing,” Moon adds.

“I consider the Town an important partner in the success of my business, complying with their requests is the least anyone can do for the town in exchange for the privilege to operate any business in Hamden.”

Adult Video Liquidators, known in the local adult industry for the attention grabbing, off the wall, tongue in cheek advertising, has hosted many stars at the store: Morgan Reigns, Courtney Cummz, Alektra Blue, and for the first time in the area a transsexual porn star. Hot Wendy Williams will be on hand in July to meet, greet, take photos and autographs for the fans.

Moon states, “We are very excited to having Wendy, She has her own line of dvd’s (HOT WENDY PRODUCTIONS) that sell extremely well. Wendy will certainly attract a crowd, especially the couples, hell, she is hotter than the wife and hung bigger than the husband.”
