Porn Valley- Pornlegends, www.pornlegends.com, submitted the following questions to the Adult Industry Assistance Fund (AIAF), a fund set up by actress Jenna Jameson and her husband, Jay Grdina, to help actors effected by the industry’s 60-day work stoppage. Below are the questions, and Mr. Grdina’s response.

HOW MANY ACTORS HAVE APPLIED FOR ASSISTANCE?

Only a few actors have applied for assistance. We will be meeting with the industry this coming week to speak with the actors and actresses and extend assistance information.

A ROUND FIGURE ON THE AMOUNT OF MONEY ALREADY DONATED?

Well, we started the fund with $10,000 from Jenna and myself. We have commitments for over 20K and we have some events coming up to help raise more.

HOW LONG WILL YOU ACCEPT DONATIONS?

We are planning on continuing AIAF well after the moratorium is lifted. Our plans are to have this as an ongoing aid to the industry.

IF THERE IS ANY MONEY LET OVER AFTER THE CRISIS HAS PASSED, WHERE WOULD THAT MONEY GO?

The money will be used to help those permanently affected by the HIV tragedy. It will help medical, living and further education for there individuals. Future monies will also be used to offset new medical testing guidelines. We will be posting more info. this coming week regarding plans and monetary strategies.
