Q: Hello Laela, for those who might not know you please let us know you are and please describe yourself?
My name is Laela Pryce and I’m a newbie in the adult industry. I’m 5’7 with blonde hair and brown eyes with an out of this world booty and smile. I have been in the industry for almost five months and I absolutely love it. I have done about 25 to 30 scenes ranging from boy/girl to bondage and have made special appearances on the Howard Stern Show, Luxsex TV and at AVN and Adultcon conventions.
Q: What prompted you to join the adult industry?
I have always wanted to be a model; I tried out for major magazines such as Maxim, Playboy, FHM, and Hustler. Some of them considered me but I didn’t make it far unfortunately, so a friend of mine referred me to LA Direct Models; the agency I’m currently signed with today as a way to pursue my dream. I thought about it and I love having sex I enjoy every minute of it so why not make a career of doing what I love. Not gonna lie I was nervous that I wouldn’t do well but I just took a chance and now I’m here in LA living my dream.
Q: What would you say is the biggest misconception that people have about the adult industry?
Honestly the biggest misconception about porn is that you can catch HIV very easily. That’s not true at all. Yes you are at risk every time you have sex but as long as you’re careful about taking care of your body and the people you have sex with, you should be fine. Like me for example, I only have sex with someone that I’m doing a scene with and if I decide to date someone they are in the industry, I don’t have sex with people outside the industry just because it’s a greater risk.
Q: Any thoughts of creating a members site and if so, what can your fans expect to find on that site?
I eventually would like to create a members site once I get a much bigger name in the industry. On my site, once I have it, members can find exclusive content but I want it for my fans. What I would really like to do before I put my website up is to get feedback from my fans about the scenes they want me to be a part of like who and what type of scenes it would be just so they can enjoy it and get their money’s worth. One thing I hate to do is disappoint people. Also in the future I would like to have an online store as a part of the member’s website where fans can purchase signed copies of my DVDs and photos as memorabilia.
Q: What would you say is your favorite scene or movie that you have been in and why?
Favorite scene I have been in, gee that’s a hard one there’s so many that I have loved. I would probably have to say PAWG with Bang Bros. First off PAWG means Phat Ass White Girl, meaning a hot white chick with a big butt. I’m definitely qualified for that title and Bang Bros is one of the best companies I have worked with. I got treated like a princess when I worked for them; they are professional and easy going. It was a boy/girl scene with Bruce Venture. He was amazing. We had really good chemistry during the scene. I don’t know who was into the sex more, him or me. Overall it was a great experience I would love to work with those guys again.
Q: What advice would you give someone that is thinking about joining the adult industry?
Anybody who is interested in joining the adult industry should join because they have a passion for and love sex. If you’re just in it for the money you won’t last long at all or become successful. You also want to sign with a top notch agency because they can get you legit work, I hear stories about so many performers getting ripped off or taken advantage of on set but that won’t happen if you’re with the right agent.
Another thing for girls is to not do everything all at once; you want to start off doing basic scenes such as boy/girl, girl/girl, solo, blowjob etc. If you just do anything/everything when you start out, chances are you’re gonna get shot out in three to six months so it’s best to wait things out to make your career last longer, as they say slow and steady wins the race.
Q: Who would you say are your idols, either in the industry or outside the industry?
My idols would have to be Jenna Jameson and Alexis Texas. They inspired me to get into porn. I looked up to Jenna when I was a little girl. I thought she was so beautiful. As I got older I became more body conscious and starting doubting myself because I thought you had to be a certain size or have a certain look to be in porn but then I saw a video of Alexis and I thought “wow, she’s curvy like me and really pretty. If she’s in it and doing well I could probably be successful just like her.” I want to be at the level they are at and how far they got with their careers.
Q: Are there any acts that you haven’t performed yet that you are thinking that you may do in the coming year?
Within the next year I would like to do anal, interracial, blowbangs, gangbangs and more fetish, squirting, solos, facials and the basics such as boy/girl, girl/girl, blowjob, bondage etc. Right now I’m just pacing myself but within a year I’d like to take it up a notch.
Q: I couldn’t find anything on this but have you thought of feature dancing as well as performing in movies?
I would absolutely love to feature dance. Once I have a bigger fan base and make a name for myself I would love to go on a feature dancing tour across the U.S. possibly international if I become much bigger than anticipated. As for movies yes absolutely, my acting skills are not tremendous but there’s always room for improvement, mainstream work would be cool and pornographic features as well. I pretty much would love to be a part of anything I get offered.
Q: Who are some of the people that you really want to work with but haven’t as of yet?
Well I got a grocery list for that. It’s a pretty long list of people; as far as performers go I would have to say James Deen, Mr. Pete, Nacho Vidal, Manuel Ferrara, Mick Blue, Xander Corvus, Keiran Lee, Voodoo, Mandingo and Prince Yashua.
Trust me there are many more performers I would love to work with as well but these guys are in my top ten because I have seen how they perform. They are real rough, in your face sex, but with passion, I love that and I think I would get along great with them as well. I like soft and sensual sex as well. It’s nice and relaxing so I wouldn’t mind working with someone who is like that just as long we get along together.
As far as production companies and directors I would have to say Jules Jordan, Jonni Darko from Evil Angel, Manuel Ferrara from Elegant and Evil, and Robbie D from Digital Playground. I have always been a fan of them.
Jules Jordan, Evil Angel and Elegant Angel are hardcore gonzo. I love hardcore sex as I said before so I would be perfect for their movies and their production is very high quality and realistic, which I think is great. They are amazing directors as well. I love their movies and it shows they actually put an effort into their work and are passionate about their job. I can say the same thing about Robbie D even though he directs features but they are amazing and I have heard great things about all of these companies. I would love to work with every company in the industry. I just mentioned those in particular because I like their style of production, it’s more so my taste and appealing.
Q: What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?
When I’m not working I’m just your average 21 year old girl, I like to go out with my friends, workout, when it’s nice and sunny I like to hike and Laela Pryce 3go to the beach. Oh, and watch porn of course
Q: Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?
I already have a couple DVDs out in stores and online, Do the Splits on My Big Cock 2 and Insane Gloryhole Cum Swallowers just got released from Lethal Hardcore.
