American Apparel woman launches new lawsuit against ‘sexual predator’ Dov Charney

No impersonations at www.adultcybermart.com/VideoDayArchives.html

from www.dailymail.co.uk – A former American Apparel employee who accused the company CEO of keeping her as a teenage sex slave is now claiming he posted naked pictures of her online.

Irene Morales’s lawsuit against Dov Charney and the clothing retailer comes after she accused him of forcing her to perform sexual acts in his Manhattan apartment.

She now claims blogs that appeared to be created and posted by her and two other women showing suggestive and naked photos of them surfaced on the internet.

Ms Morales filed her original lawsuit in New York last month and accused Mr Charney of forcing her to perform sexual acts under the threat of losing her job.

The former saleswoman also sued American Apparel and its directors, saying they failed to prevent Charney from acting as a ‘sexual predator’.

Several other women including Alyssa Ferguson and Tesa Lubans-Dehaven filed a related lawsuit in California state court later in March.

Now the latest lawsuit alleges that blogs which appeared to be created and posted by Ms Morales, Ms Ferguson and Ms Lubans-Dehaven surfaced online.

The blogs contained suggestive and nude photos of them, which were posed by the women during company photo shoots, the lawsuit said.

One blog post attributed to Ms Ferguson allegedly had the photo caption: ‘Partying in NY with Tesa Lubans after filing our lawsuit’.

The posts allegedly made it appear as if the women were admitting that their lawsuits were an ‘extortion’ scheme ‘brewed up with some third-rate lawyer from Jersey’.

The women claimed severe emotional distress from the suggestion that they filed bogus sexual harassment and assault claims to extort money.

They also accused the company of releasing their pictures to major newspapers without their permission.

The lawsuit accuses Mr Charney and the company of defamation, privacy invasion and violating a California law making it illegal to impersonate another person online.

Mr Charney’s lawyer, Peter Schey, said he was reviewing the new complaint, which was filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

He called the earlier sexual harassment claims ‘contrived and baseless’, saying they were filed to ‘garner media attention in an effort to force quick cash settlements’.

American Apparel has argued it was Morales, now 20, who chased Mr Charney and that the harassment cases should be heard by an arbitrator.

The company has not yet commented on the latest lawsuit.
