Dear APHSS Participant,
Enclosed you will find your subsidy check for your February test(s). Please excuse the delay in sending out the checks. Fraud was committed on our performer subsidy checking account and the old account had to be shut down and a new account created, checks ordered etc. Our Bank is working with us and has an .accounting of all checks written on the old account and will make sure that they are honored.
If you noticed that this check is less than previous checks, the amount coming in to the performer subsidy fund has been reduced from $50,000 monthly to $10,000 due to the reduction of donation levels. The folks at Manwin have stated that they will match contributions if other producers contribute to the fund; therefore it is possible that the amount will be greater than $10,000. However, despite appeals sent by FSC,we have not seen an increase in donations.
As always, the amount of the checks is dependent on the number of tests subsidized. Please note that beginning with March’s checks APHSS subsidized a maximum of 3 tests per month to meet the 14 day or 28 day expiration requirements.
TrepSure APHSS’s medical advisory council met and agreed to drop the requirement of Trep Sure on regular panels for syphilis. The minimum requirement is the RPRor the TrepSure syphilis tests with every panel. Performers coming into, returning or who have performed oversees are
required to get a TrepSure test for their first panel into, or back into, the industry. Some testing facilities have chosen to keep the TrepSure test in their regular panel.
We appreciate your participation in the APHSS program and will continue to do our best to serve the testing and availability needs of the adult performer community.
Warm Regards,
