LOS ANGELES – The mid-season finale of Seth Gamble’s new series, “Privilege,” featuring April Olsen and Damon Dice, debuted today on Wicked.com. The eight-scene series, produced by Wicked Head of Production Axel Braun, showcases narrative storytelling and an ensemble cast.
"Privilege" Series Overview
“Privilege” is an erotic drama written and directed by Seth Gamble, a Gamma contract star and AVN Male Performer of the Year nominee. The series centers on the family patriarch, Alexander Nash, portrayed by Evan Stone, who governs his family with an iron fist but holds a soft spot for his youngest daughter, played by April Olsen. Nash is involved in a significant deal that he aims to protect from sabotage, including from his ex-wife, Lexi Luna, and his new bride, Julia Ann, who is depicted as having an interest in his finances and his son, Liam, played by Nathan Bronson.
The narrative also involves Nash’s other son, Lucas, portrayed by Lucky Fate, a compulsive gambler whose actions jeopardize the family empire. As Alexander’s personal story unfolds, the series reveals the sex lives of his family members through a chain of events that expose further scandal.
Performers' Perspectives
April Olsen, an AVN Female Performer of the Year nominee, discussed her role as Alexander Nash’s youngest daughter, describing her character as seemingly innocent yet whip-smart. Olsen stated, “Getting into the adult industry, I never once thought I’d be handed a real script.” She added that sometimes scripts are well-thought-out and cohesive, featuring characters that performers can connect with. Olsen finds it a delightful challenge to adopt new characters and bring them to life.
Olsen credited director Gamble for providing guidance that helped her refine her performance. She shared her initial apprehension about taking direction from Gamble, noting, “Seth is one of those porn performers who can truly act—rare!—so I was a little nervous to take his direction.” Olsen recalled a specific tearful scene that pushed her beyond her comfort zone, clarifying that no one made her cry, but it was a crying scene. She explained that challenging herself and experiencing new things were reasons she entered the industry. The scene concluded with a sex scene featuring Damon Dice. Olsen mentioned Gamble’s comment about her rolling her eyes when he interrupted their on-screen lovemaking, to which she responded that if she did, it was due to being in character, “like a real actress.”
Damon Dice praised Gamble for his meticulous approach to his craft and for maintaining high expectations for his performers. Dice stated that Gamble has consistently pushed him to be a better performer and has assisted him in developing his acting skills. Dice described his character as analytical, attempting to understand the chaos and mysteries within the story’s plot. Gamble characterized the pairing of Olsen and Dice as “definitely one of the most passionate scenes in the film—there was a real sense of chemistry and connection.”
