It’s an all-star turnout for the triple-X, four-day feast of the flesh at the Hard Rock Hotel guaranteed to end our brutal Arctic ice air and send temperatures soaring into the sizzling sexties.
More than 30,000 are expected to attend AVN/AEE and turn the Hard Rock into a hedonistic playground. Think bulging bras, dangerous decolletage, higher-than-high heels, flashing fishnets, lacy lingerie and saucy stockings beneath slit short skirts. It’s the de rigeur uniform for photo and autograph sessions for fans and promotions of DVD releases.
It’s not Hollywood but rather the multimillion-megabucks adult-entertainment business that with recent law changes in California has sent filmmakers and starlets here, where statutes are not so strict. More than 150 beauties will showcase their assets.
Even controversial, headline-making Octomom Nadya Suleman will be signing autographs Friday and Saturday. Her eight children are staying home, and her movie “Home Alone” is up for four awards. Adult entertainment powerhouse L.A. Direct Models will bring more than 40 of its stars, including Kagney Linn Karter, Christie Stevens, Aleksa Nicole and Teal Conrad.
“This is the biggest week in the adult industry’s year,” L.A. Direct Models owner Derek Hay says. “We’re bringing our superstars — the veterans, the newbies, the rising starlets, the award winners — to network with our colleagues and meet and greet the fans in four days of nonstop celebration.”
“I’m really excited for the expo this year,” L.A. Direct Models performer Aleksa Nicole said. “It’s my third year attending AEE and second signing for L.A. Direct. I’m looking forward to seeing all my fans in Vegas!”
