Patrick Collins, an AVN Hall of Fame producer and director and co-founder of Elegant Angel, passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 73. Collins, who had experienced various health issues in recent years, died in his sleep at his home in a suburb of Los Angeles.

Collins was known for his work as an American pornographic actor, producer, and director. He was also known by the names Roscoe Bowltree, Patrick 'Father' Collins, Patrick (Father) Collins, Patrick (father) Collins, Al Terego, and Patrick Charles Collins. His birth name was Patrick Charles Collins.

As a co-founder of Elegant Angel, Collins was instrumental in establishing the studio as a prominent entity in the adult industry. Under his direction, Elegant Angel became recognized as one of the top gonzo studios. David Joseph, an AVN Hall of Fame executive, had a close friendship with Collins that spanned more than 20 years. Joseph stated that he had a good relationship with Collins and had seen him two weeks prior to his passing, noting that Collins looked "OK" during a hospital visit. Joseph described Collins as a "very good man" who was "always nice" and "very helpful," also referring to him as "kind of a genius" in the business.

John Stagliano, the founder of Evil Angel, recounted meeting Collins in the summer of 1989. Stagliano sought to hire Collins' adult performer girlfriend, Tianna, for an Evil Angel movie. At the time, both Collins and Tianna were in rehab, and Collins had been sober for two or three months. Stagliano subsequently offered Collins a position as his sales manager for Evil Angel, which was in its early stages of development.
