Porn Valley – Steve Banan Will Hold A Closed Door, Round Table Lunch, Meeting & Discussion With Many Prominent Journalists, Business Owners, Executives, Attorneys and Medical Doctors
Steve Banan posts: I will hold a very private closed-door lunch and meeting on Thursday April 22nd. It will be held at an undisclosed location in Burbank, CA. I called for this meeting last week on the road as I was returning from San Francisco. Many prominent journalists in the adult industry are attending as well as executives, business owners, attorneys and a medical doctor.
Some of the topics that will be discussed are how we all can help to save the Adult Entertainment Industry from being taken over by the United States Government. How we can protect, preserve, and defend our talent so this particular incident will never occur again.
A new and different way of testing should be run by a medical doctor and nursing staff. The producers, agents, manager, distributors and manufacturers and most of all AVN should give back much and fund this service. An appointed board should monitor it. The board should work with a newly formed adult talent union. There should be stewards appointed to this talent union that are paid to make sure that the producers call into a call board all locations and talent that are working on any particular day.
A contract should be negotiated at least every two years between the talent union and the producers, distributors and manufacturers. Any producers that wish to shoot any production must be signatory to the talent union and pay annual dues. Fines should be levied against any producer that does not live up to the contract. This should all be watched over closely by the appointed board.
Producers who do not abide by the contract should be shut down immediately by the talent union stewards. This includes Private, Pleasure, New Sensation, Metro, LFP, VCA, AVN, VIVID, Lucchese /Banan Entertainment Group, Inc. Sin City, Wicked, Digital Playground and any other major or small independent production houses.
The buck must stop here with us, if we want to survive. The talent says and I agree that the porn companies are the only ones making the money and getting richer while the talent are the onea tasking the risks. It is about time, people, that we all ante up and once and for all take care of business in the proper way.
