The jury in the Robert Blake murder trial reached a not guilty verdict Wednesday afternoon after deliberating for more than eight days on whether the actor killed his wife.

Blake, the 71-year-old star of the 1970s detective drama “Baretta” was charged with one count of murder and two counts of solicitation of murder. The jury was deadlocked on one of the solicitation counts, and reached a not guilty verdict on the other two charges.
