Bloomington Man Confesses to Murder at Garden of Eden Adult Video Store

Indiana – from www.wibc.com – A man who admits to murdering a Bloomington video store clerk Monday night has turned himself into police.

26-year-old Michael S. Angle reportedly admitted to investigators that he was in the process of robbing the Garden of Eden adult video store when he began to stab 47-year-old clerk Lauren Kahn of Lawrence County.

Kahn was transported to IU Health-Bloomington where she died.

A witness says Angle chased him when he left the store, but he managed to get away.

A folding knife was found in the street and investigators believe it is the same weapon used to kill Kahn.

Angle has been booked into the Monroe County Jail and charged with murder and attempted robbery.
