At www.adultcybermart.com we do not advocate marriage because it interferes with one’s social life…and only homos spell “honor” with a u.
from www.thecheapseats.ca – This week, Brigham Young University star forward Brandon Davies was suspended for the remainder of the season for having premarital sex, a violation of the school’s honour code. BYU is a Mormon institution but also a hoops powerhouse. It’s currently ranked third in the country, ahead of schools like Duke, North Carolina and Syracuse, so dumping a top player is no laughing matter.
Well, until you start thinking about an adult being suspended from school for having consensual sex with another adult. That’s good for some solid chuckle time. Banning sex from college is like banning fries from McDonald’s. (Or at least McNuggets.)
Now, plenty of schools have honour codes to discourage cheating, lying and otherwise bad behaviour but this takes things to a whole ‘nother level.
That said, Davies signed on to this honour code and all the other stuff that comes with a religious institute when he commited to BYU. Mess with the cross and you get the abstinence. And even though I might think this rule is insane, full credit to BYU for enforcing it. Too many schools let things slide when it involves athletes and high profile sports. Still, don’t think this will go down too well next year in BYU’s basketball recruiting pamphlet.
