from www.nypost.com – A call girl who once worked for Manhattan “Madam” Anna Gristina said her boss had well-placed law-enforcement sources tipping her off about upcoming brothel busts, which is how the operation remained up and running for so long.

Irma Nici, who has previously claimed to have slept with David Beckham and Eliot Spitzer, worked for Gristina for six months in 2002 and told The Post that the mother of four “laughed” when other escort services went down.

“She always did say she had someone giving her a heads up,” the Bosnian brunette revealed to The Post.

“When Fleur de Elite [a competing brothel run by another madam] was busted, she was laughing because she had inside information.”

“Everyone was scared when the other agencies went down,” said Nici, whose real name is Irma Nezirovic.

Even former rival Kristin Davis believes that Gristina was being protected from the clutches of the police.

“You can’t stay in business that long unless someone else is tipping you off,” Davis said.

Another industry source confirmed that Gristina laid low before crackdowns in the business and was happy to see her competition plummet.

“She was glad because she flat-out hated the Russian madams and the Jason [Itzler] upstarts because they let the girls use drugs and took a massive cut of their pay and weren’t under the radar,” the source said.
