Long Island- Two Long Island teens have been busted for sneaking into a girl’s bathroom at their former high school to videotape unsuspecting students, cops said yesterday.
Manuel Ulloa, 19, and Jamie Jones, 18, were caught Jan. 27 when the assistant dean at Lawrence High School spotted Ulloa in a hallway talking on a cell phone.
As she was questioning him, “Jamie Jones comes out of the ladies room with a camcorder in his hand,” said Nassau Detective Sgt. John King.
“They wanted to go in and try to catch them [girls] in various stages of undress,” King said.
Jones told cops the pair planned to stage an event called Freak Fest and show the tape to their friends.
After catching the teens, the assistant dean booted them from the school and called the cops, King said.
Jones, of Inwood, was arrested later that day while Ulloa, from Hewlett, was busted Thursday night. Cops have recovered the video camera but have not located a video.
King said the high school had earlier banned the two former students after catching them sneaking onto school property.
Ulloa was released yesterday after being arraigned on felony charges of burglary and unlawful surveillance.
Jones was arraigned last Saturday on similar charges and is being held on $10,500 bail.
Investigators are unsure whether the teens succeeded in videotaping any girls in the bathroom.
