MINNEAPOLIS — Carnal Media has acquired the European studio Staghomme and relaunched it as a studio brand. The relaunch is headlined by recently signed Carnal exclusive Bastian Karim.

Acquisition and Relaunch Details

Carnal Media announced the acquisition and relaunch of European studio Staghomme. The relaunch occurred on Thursday, April 25, 2024, as part of the CarnalPlus.com streaming platform. Staghomme is the first project for Carnal Media to be headlined by Bastian Karim, a recently signed exclusive performer.

Staghomme was originally launched in 2008. The original content was created by Franceso D'Macho and featured a cross-section of European gay porn stars. Carnal Media CMO Alan Breslaw noted that it had been a decade since Staghomme produced new stories.

Legrand Wolf, President and Founder of Carnal Media, reflected on the original Staghomme content, stating that it was content he watched, loved, and was inspired by when he first entered the adult industry. Wolf specifically mentioned the casting, filming, and ideas pursued by the original studio. He added that as Staghomme is brought into the Carnal family of sites, its roots will be honored.

Alan Breslaw described the relaunching of the studio as a "labor of love." He also highlighted Bastian Karim's role, stating that having the international superstar and Carnal exclusive leading the helm has been "nothing short of spectacular."

New Content and Vision

The relaunched Staghomme is described as being set to redefine the landscape of gay erotic cinema. Promotional materials indicate that viewers will watch the world of Europe’s underground unfold as Bastian Karim guides them through the multifaceted, often unknown, and unspoken world of the European elite. The content offers a voyeuristic peek into a realm where power plays are the norm and desires are catered to by those who wield power, specifically where Europe’s powerful men play.

The new scenes under the Staghomme banner will explore Europe's underground, where the male body is presented as the currency of control. Themes include Mafia, Clergy, Politics, and Business, with powerful figures controlling and orchestrating events in the shadows of Europe. The narrative suggests that sex between men is forbidden, authorized exclusively for Europe’s elite, and that control is their source of money and power.

Bastian Karim will lead Carnal Media's Spanish production team, which includes award-winning director Alter Sin. As part of his deal with CarnalPlus.com, Karim will appear in major titles for several of CarnalPlus' original series. The latest sex scene from Staghomme is titled ‘The Clergy Chapter 2: Holiness,’ in which Bastian Karim bottoms for Scott Carter.

The relaunched Staghomme will feature new stories with Bastian Karim alongside other European performers, including Sir Peter, Scott Carter, and Apolo Adrii. Bastian Karim is a decorated performer, having received three EU Grabbys and the 2023 Performer of the Year at the XBiz Europa Awards.
