Las Vegas- Superstar and KSEX, www.ksexradio.com, peejay Cherokee was named " Best New Feature" at the recent 2004 Exotic Dancer Awards show recently held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
"Totally Stunned", that's all Cherokee remembers when hearing her name announced as the Winner, adding: "I didn't think I had a chance, they're were some amazing performers nominated. The funny thing is, I left my ticket {in my room}. Once I got in, I ran into Dave {Manneck, Exotic Dancer's Editor} and asked where I was supposed to be sitting, sat down, next thing I know, I'm going onstage,it was really crazy."
The win capped off a busy week, which saw her performing at one showcase, Co hosting another and appearing at the Annual Fan Fair show.
While Touring as a Feature Dancer for less then a year, Cherokee's quietly built a solid reputation on the circuit, both for her professionalism, and drawing power.
She begins a special Spearmint Rhino tour this week, with stops in Rialto in {September 9,10,11th} Downtown Los Angeles{October 7th,8th,9th} City of Industry {November 4th,5th,6th} and Oxnard {December 2nd,3rd,4th}.
