WWW- Entertainer Bill Cosby admits to having “consensual” sexual contact with a Pickering woman who claims the TV star drugged and molested her, according to ABC News.
“A source close to the investigation told ABC News that Cosby’s version of what happened between him and the woman and his accuser’s story are similar in many ways. The dispute, the source told ABC News, is whether the contact between Cosby and the woman was consensual,” a broadcast which appeared on the ABC News Internet Ventures web site said.
Cosby’s accuser, Andrea Constand, went to authorities on Jan. 13, contending Cosby had given her some medication and later fondled her in his Pennsylvania mansion a year earlier, after they and others met for dinner.
Constand, 31, met with Philadelphia police last Saturday and gave a statement regarding her complaints against Cosby.
On Wednesday, Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce Castor Jr. said Cosby, 67, was fully co-operating with investigators and a decision whether to charge him will be made in two weeks.
Castor said Constand’s allegation, if true, would constitute a misdemeanor or low-level felony. The Cosby camp was not commenting on reports that the sexual contact was consensual.
“All communications between Mr. Cosby and the authorities are confidential and I won’t comment on them. I will say these allegations are without merit,” Cosby’s publicist, David Brokow, said last night from Beverly Hills.
Andrea’s mother, Giovanna Constand, did not want to talk about the ABC report when she was contacted last night. Constand was unavailable for comment
