Despite Kickbacks, Sao Paulo’s Biggest Porn Studio Raided

Brazil- John T. Bone reports on www.johntbone.com: Friday night the biggest porn studio in Sao Paulo was raided by police for the second time in less than 2 weeks.

Owned by an American and fronted by a Brazilian, the studio has been in existence for several years, to my knowledge they comply with all local laws, they have all of the permits and legal requirements to be in business and I know that they have been paying a monthly fee to the local police, so what happened?

The first raid was apparently nothing, money changed hands and business continued but Friday was different. A friend who was on his way to the studio around 11 pm said that there were between 4 and 6 police cars outside and around 20 policemen with guns drawn inside, the huge electric doors were wide open and he could see actors and crew members lined up against the wall with their hands on their heads.

This is not how things usually happen here.

Recently many of the night clubs/whore houses (all operating legally) have been shut down, nobody seems to know why or even if there is a connection to what happened here, I and everyone else is totally mystified, when I find out more I will let you know.
