You couldn’t compete. But the little companies are now big companies.” Spinelli said now he has a publicist and things are exciting. “Things are changing- I embrace it.”

Wankus asked Mitch if he honestly experiences the residuals of the multi-billion dollar business. “It’s a saturated market like anything else,” said Spinelli. “There’s a lot of product. The middle has been squeezed. It’s high end or low end. You see that window of opportunity, you embrace that change.”

Wankus said he often gets comments from people who think he’s loaded. “Far from it- the way I describe it to them, you know where you go to amusement parks- they have that machine where you step in and throw those dollar bills up in the air? You have to try and catch as many as you can. That’s what I describe the porn business as. There’s lots of money in it but there’s so many people trying to grab those dollars that you’re lucky if you walk out with a couple. That’s just the way it is- until you find that little hook or that little edge. You just got to keep plugging away. It’s like anything else.”

“It’s a good living,” Spinelli agreed. “The opportunities are endless. It’s a different time now.”

Kat was asked if her mother knew what she was doing. Kat said she told her since the last show. “She called me in a middle of a scene. I got mad at her. But it really gets me mad when she calls when I’m working.”
