A New York/Los Angeles-based movie distribution and production company will film a documentary on Suze Randall, an English model, photographer, and pornographer, at the upcoming AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) in Las Vegas. This event marks Randall’s first public appearance since her official retirement in 2010.

Documentary Production at AEE

The documentary shooting is scheduled to occur next week at booth #211, which is the location for the website software company Elevated X. Randall will be present at this booth for the production and to interact with show attendees. The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo will host this filming in Las Vegas.

Suze Randall is an AVN Hall of Fame member. She is recognized as the only female photographer of her era to have shot for "the Big Three" men’s magazines: Playboy, Penthouse, and Hustler. Her work also appeared in other adult publications, including High Society.

Randall first achieved widespread recognition for her photographs of model Lillian Müller. Pictorials featuring Müller were published as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in August 1975 and subsequently as Playmate of the Year in 1976.

Her mainstream commercial work includes the British Lamb's Navy Rum calendar, album covers for recording artists such as Revenge and Robert Palmer, and contributions to a music video for Capitol Records.

Randall Family Legacy and Public Appearance

Suze Randall is the mother of Holly Randall, who is also an adult industry photographer, director, and podcaster. Holly Randall is an AVN Hall of Fame inductee. Both Suze and Holly Randall will be available for autographs and photos with show attendees at booth #211 after the documentary filming concludes. They will also be signing books, including Suze Randall’s memoir and another book.

Suze Randall was born on May 18, 1946, in Worcester, England. She is 79 years old. Her career began with work as a nurse and then as a fashion model in the early 1970s. She gained attention for erotic photographs she took of her fellow model friends. In 1972, she played an au pair in Éric Rohmer's film Love in the Afternoon. She later gave up modeling to focus on erotic photography, becoming the first female to shoot Page 3 for The Sun newspaper. She was also the first female staff photographer for both Playboy and Hustler. Randall is noted as one of the early female pornographic film directors, having made Kiss and Tell in 1980. She is the president of the adult content website Suze Network. Her work in recent years has included bondage imagery. She was married to Humphry Knipe from 1975 until his death in 2023, and they had three children, including Holly.
