The AVN Expo first came to The Virgin Hotels more than a decade ago. The venue has undergone changes, with dark corners and rock-and-roll memorabilia replaced by southwestern tans and reds. The casino ceiling is now a grid of interlocking triangles, and new pathways connect slot machines and table games. The casino bar has been relocated near the entrance.
On the day of the expo, fans waiting for the noon opening formed an orderly line through the casino, with security guards directing traffic. The trade entrance was busy, with security checking credentials and tote bags, and attendees passing through metal detectors. Attendees observed at the trade entrance included performer Lauren Phillips and Nexxxt Level talent agent Andre Madness. The My Free Cams booth featured white couches camouflaged with MFC-branded pillows and blankets. Lauren Phillips was observed meeting a friend from FanCentro and later being interviewed by a blog representative. AVN veteran Sherri Shaulis was also present.
