Evil Angel just became exclusive US distributor for British hardcore firm Harmony Video, home to award-winning Scottish director Gazzman, the “First Highlander of Porn.” Harmony, a large adult retailer based in London,started its video-production arm several years ago. The company has received wide acclaim for its edgy approach to porn, demonstrated in such flicks as “Hotel Hyde” (US release date: 2/4/05), “Cabaret Bizarre” (release date:3/11/05), the “Slam It” series (“Slam It In Her Ass” release date: 3/25/05), and its new “Fuck Me” line (“Belladonna’s Fuck Me” release date: 2/18/05).

Harmony recently named Gazzman its head of film production. He’ll oversee 24 titles a year, 8 of which he’ll personally direct. Gazzman’s known for shepherding super-sluts to exotic locales and filming them getting reamed in every nook and cranny. Among his awards are AVN’s Best Foreign Director and Best Foreign Feature for Private’s “Scottish Loveknot,” a sizzling Triple-X tribute to “Braveheart” filmed in a 15th-century castle that actually once belonged to the mainstream epic’s real-life hero, Sir William Wallace.
