Friends2Follow (F2F) and Image Angel have launched a new traceability solution designed to combat unauthorized content sharing. This partnership introduces forensic watermarking, embedding user-specific identifiers into premium content at the point of access.

New Traceability Solution Deployed

The collaboration between adult social platform Friends2Follow.com and Image Angel has resulted in a system where every piece of paid content on the platform now includes a non-visible, tamper-resistant marker. This marker is tied to each individual user session, allowing leaked content to be tracked once it is posted off-platform.

According to an F2F representative, if content is leaked and subsequently redistributed, it can be traced back to its exact source. The identifying marker does not alter the content and remains invisible to users. The representative stated that if a leak occurs, the origin becomes instantly identifiable, which shifts protection from after-the-fact enforcement to built-in accountability.

An F2F representative explained that content leaks continue to diminish creator income on subscription platforms, where a single unauthorized share can negate months of earnings. Once content leaves a platform, its spread often becomes uncontrollable. F2F.com is addressing this issue by embedding forensic, user-specific identifiers directly into premium content at the moment of access.

Jean-Micheal Veen, CEO of F2F.com, commented on the new system, stating that while responding to leaks after they happen has always been possible, the damage is typically already done by that point. He added that by embedding traceability at the moment of access, a preventative layer is introduced, making unauthorized sharing no longer anonymous.

Impact on Content Protection

The new feature embeds forensic, user-specific identifiers directly into premium content at the moment of access. A representative noted that every piece of paid content now carries a non-visible, tamper-resistant marker linked to the individual user session. This means that if content leaks and is redistributed outside the platform, it can be traced back to the precise source.

F2F reports that one in four individuals will experience non-consensual image sharing during their lifetime. Professional creators, in particular, face elevated risks and direct financial harm from leaked content, with legal action often proving too slow to prevent widespread damage.

F2F.com is also working on integrating with external systems, including Stop Non-Consensual Intimate Image Abuse (StopNCII), which is expected to strengthen cross-platform protection.
