from www.billboard.com – Fantasia is embroiled in a sex tape scandal after a woman filed a divorce lawsuit claiming her husband had an affair with the former “American Idol” winner.

According to Charlotte, N.C., news station WCNC, the lawsuit, filed by Paula Cook, alleges that Antwuan Cook has been involved with Fantasia (née Barrino) since last August. Cook also alleges that the pair “have at times recorded their illicit sexual activity.”

The plaintiff seeks custody of the couple’s two children, ages 1 and 4, as well as child support and alimony.

Fantasia stepped out last fall with a tattoo that read “Cook” below her left collar bone, but that has since been covered with a new tattoo. In a statement, her manager Brian Dickens said that the singer is “certain that she is not responsible for the deterioration of the Cook’s marriage…Fantasia will weather this storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout a life in which she has repeatedly overcome obstacles and challenges. Fantasia’s faith in God, herself and family remain as strong as ever.”
