An Autralian filmmaker has called for students to star in a documentary where they will lose their virginity.

Cameraman Justin Sisely has offered AU$20,000 (£9,000) for two virgins to star in his programme but instead had police respond to his advertising posters.

Mr Sisely told The Sun he was "exploring the idea of virginity as a commodity".

"It's a one-time thing, it's not like they're continually going to be a prostitute," he said.

Victoria's Monash University, in Melbourne, Australia, said the "Virgins Wanted" posters were torn down after complaints from family groups.

Police have not taken any action.
