She noted that producers during that time had to work within strict parameters of what they could show on screen, similar to the limitations faced by adult entertainment due to credit card processor compliance. Jasmin stated that the team had to "flex our creativity in some challenging but ultimately super-rewarding ways" to create plot points for a gripping thriller, including implying violence without explicitly showing it, similar to filmmaking during the Hays censorship era.

Jasmin also highlighted the goal of creating a fully lived-in universe with fleshed-out characters. She remarked that if the explicit sex were removed, the feature could still hold its own on top streaming services based on its storyline and acting. The team focused on character continuity and development, ensuring visually interesting sets and locations. The film also features a double anal scene, a first for Disruptive Films.
